  1. thank you! That has made my day! Fan-*******-tastic post!
  2. completely depends on which league we are in. Why should we have to stump up the same amount as this year in a lower league? As for ticket prices in div three they should be no more than £18 quid. Even that is a push.
  3. Me too. This time last season we were in pretty much the same position but I always kept the faith and Mr John did the business in the 83rd minute. We can't be so lucky two seasons in a row. We are down. Still, on wards and upwards!
  4. about 6. unless someone can sneak into soho square with some tipex and make a few ammendments to the register.
  5. SFC will never die. It will live on in the Apache dream world and I will visit the club through meditation, ascending to a higher plain of consciousness and travelling along the life-force of generations of loyal fans.
  6. agreed with the OP. That said, looking forward, I think the most important game ever will be the last game of next season when we need to beat Brighton by a margin of 75 goals to avoid a place in the 4th div. ..but seriously, Watford is going to be huge. Still haven't decided to go or not
  7. eh? is she on tonight or yesterday? Just listening in to Radio Hampshire and they said she was on yesterday? What gives?
  8. No way. At least, not whilst the club is owned by a share-holder-driven PLC. If we were an Industrial and Provident Soc then yes. But the idea of giving my hard-earned cash (above and beyond my ST) to a PLC does not sit well. ..however if the PLC asked for a share placement and only fans could apply, and the resultant shares offered significantly diluted the egiots holdings then maybe...
  9. Look buddy, I hate Lowe as much as the next fan but you can't deny me my half-time pint. It helps take the edge off watching us lose.
  10. Dear Mr Wotte. Please could you do us fans the favour of letting us see at least one more home win this season. I know that a total of two home wins is a tad greedy but it would make us all feel so much better. If you can't do it then please get a taxi to the airport and follow Mr Poortvliet back to Holland. Respectfully, 1976
  11. could be the case....
  12. yes. I gave up buying a program a long time ago and don't even bother with the megastore. might still need my pint at half-time though.
  13. Is it me or has Kelvin regressed somewhat since this Wotte chappie took over? The first half of the season his ball distribution was good and usually consisted of quickly punting it up field. Last night it was rubbish. He just rolled it out to the nearest player who then kicked it back again. Is it me or does anyone else think he is doing things differently these days?
  14. which goes to show that people are far too critical and negative. From where I was sitting he showed real determination and worked hard. Sometimes I think that people go to games with their minds already set on negativity. Sure, he isn't the finished article but I was enough impressed by him to have marked him down as a future star. And anyway giving someone a mark out of ten is never going to be objective when we lose a game and are sitting in the relegation zone. If we had won last night you can bet that the marks out of ten would have been higher.
  15. Not me. Certainly support the principle of getting Lowe and Wilde out but I couldn't bring myself to humiliate the players in that way. Sorry, but I think it is a bad way to protest. What was excellent about the march on Saturday was that we had a good, vocal rant at Lowe and then got right behind the lads and really gave them excellent support. So while I support your motives, I don't support the idea.
  16. I really can't be r-sed to go to the smeg hole which is Watford. .. but I probably will end up going.
  17. granted he is still a rough diamond but there is certainly quality there.
  18. you must have been at a different game pal. He was excellent.

    McLaggon

The only thing good about yesterday was seeing McLaggon. Future star. Very impressed with him. His attitude and commitment. Well done son.
  20. I'm not sure the title of this thread is applicable to SFC but it sure as hell is to the UK. As I sat on the train this morning, coming back from the game, I had one of those rare epiphany moments and suddenly I saw the country in its true light. What Gordon Brown, Blair before him and all the so-called labourists have done to our country is a crime of unimaginable scale. (Actually, the charge can be squarely levelled at all politicians of any colour.) Does there exist anywhere a less competent group of non-entities than the parliamentary labour party? They are only in it for themselves. They get eye-watering salaries (which they set themselves) they get lavish expense accounts and for a period of five years never have to fear losing their jobs. And oh yes, then there are the rock-solid gold-plated diamond encrusted pensions. This country is bankrupt and the corrupt pigs in parliament don't give a t0ss. Brown should swing from a lamp post for what he has done to the country. So should the bankers. So should Lowe. The only thing still worth being alive for in this sh!t hole is SFC and even that is painful. Why can't we frickin win a game at home? I am p!ssed off with life. My football club is in the merde and being run by a complete arrogant ***t and the country is also. F\/ck them all. Parasites. Useless c u n t s.
  21. ..sounds like a character out of Flash Gordon! Hope he is 'hungary' for success !!
  22. true. good point. what's the name of the director of supporters services at the club? David .... anyone got his email address? I'll fire off an email...
  23. umm don't think so. I am ***certain*** that the number is anctual souls who pass through the turnstiles. I'll ask an Orange Coat tonight.
  24. eh? each time the turnstile turns it clicks the counter one more time. eh? The official attendance figures are precisely that: the number of bums on seats, it doesn't include STs or tickets sold which were not used.
  25. you haven't got the hang of this image thing yet have you
