I remember that photo, they didn't dare pull the dart out until he got to hospital in case it had pierced his brain. The bloke with it still stuck above his nose didn't look particularly bothered by it. The late sixties and seventies were when I started going as a kid, thats very much how I remember it. There was always trouble nearby if that was your thing, but easy enough to avoid if it wasn't. Didn't see much of the eighties as I was away at college from 1976-79, then worked up in the Stoke area until 1984. Took me a while to start going to games again once I got back here and started my own business up, saturdays being the one day of the week I couldn't take off. Still holds true, sadly.

Yes, the ref was poor. Didn't notice Moreno tbh, but I reckon either of these teams would struggle against any PL side, even the relegated ones. That said, Garcia was excellent. He scored a belter, really well taken chance, but was ruled offside by a tiny margin, the replay looked very much like he was on. Linked up well too. Verdu was pretty anonymous, and subbed off with 15 minutes left. MOM for me was Aspas for Celta.

He is. Looks good, played a couple of good through balls, then spoiled it with a dreadful longish pass to the right wing when they were looking really dangerous. Espanyol seem to be the team getting caught in possession in midfield, and their passing has been patchy at best. Picked up towards the end of the half though, and very unlucky not to equalise. Sergio Garcia looks good as well.

On now, anybody else watching it? Espanyol aren't showing many signs of MP's high pressing game, though they havent got much to play for and Celta need a win to stay up. Interesting to see if he tries to bring in any of his former squad.

I've just signed a sixty grand a week contract to play for Chelsea next season. Just need to get them to sign it now.
