Dear God, tell me you're joking??

I heard this dopy cow on the radio this morning banging on about some book she's "written" about herself, didnt hear her name but it must be the same woman. Christ, does she really think she's gods gift to men? wtf is she taking?? I just assumed from the radio interview that she must be at least passable looking, but I wouldn't queue for long, I can tell you that. What a mlnger. She sounded utterly thick as well. Other than that, I'm sure she's a very nice girl.

Why would you give a toss either way? According to you we're getting flogged off as soon as we get promoted.

Lets hope it doesn't come down to a last-gasp penalty is all I can say. Hopefully we'll be out of sight by then. Excuse me, just off down the garden, those chickens definitely need counting.

4-1 loss at home to Pompey but win the last 5 matches?

Sounds like a starter for a whole new thread to me. -
Surprised this hasn't been mentioned earlier. Every man should own an electric guitar, regardless of whether or not he can play it. End of.

You finally stumped up this year's fiver then turks. Money well spent mate, this thread is golden.

Good laugh on R4 Extra, starting now, repeated later; Hancocks half hour. Set during the Suez crisis, somewhat topical....

Stand your ground Jonny, ffs. Its a fair question to ask, you felt like asking it and you asked it, so what? My fourpence worth, I'd swallow the bitter pill of losing to the skate c*nts if that would guarantee us auto promotion. But we wont have to go through that scenario, hopefully -
There is absolutely nothing that a teenage girl could do at will which would surprise me. They are simply another species, and I have no idea where they spring from.

My condolences on your sad loss Sainted Will. What a touching gesture to make, I will do my best to be there on the 20th. Rest in peace, Saint Bri.

I'm not fond of him either, but then, as a non-sky subscriber, I dont have to listen to him!! There lies your path my son, confucious has spoken....

Oddly, thats the only song I remember from when I was a kid standing on a box behind the wilton end goal. Apart from OWTS, obviously. The other bits that stuck in my mind were when Ossie signed and played his first game at the Dell, our own fans singing "Osgood is a w*nker". And Eric "the cat" Martin yelling to his back line to "f*cking come on you f*cking f*ckers up the f*cking back, f*cking well get f*cking you f*cking f*ckers". Made an impression on me, that.

Lee - out for 4-6 months according to Japanese press

Couldn't agree more. But if he's out, he's out and thats that tbh. I reckon Barnard and/or Connolly could fill in myself, but I'm usually wrong about most things. Tadanari has been terrific in the few games I've seen him play, as you say, a breath of fresh air. -

B*llocks. Just what we didn't need. One of our best signings of the season imho. On the plus side (clutching at straws, I know) Barney will get some match time, he has been very well received the couple of games he was subbed on for recently and worked like hell for the team. And despite the negative comments on here I still reckon DC can do a job, he was an absolutely massive asset at the tail end of last season's promotion push. -
Thats just taking the easy way out. Get in an exorcist.
-
Probably right, but I'll agree when whu lose another game.
-
Agreed. Even the BBC taters were saying that, how many onside runs got flagged?
-
Apparently not. Self-immolation, perhaps?
-
Good point, he looked well up for it. Shame he didn't have a bit more time.

No, but there is an HIV awareness leaflet.

Very poor game from us, but a couple of things I noticed, (only saw it on telly, and hats off to the fans who made the trip, they sounded absolutely fantastic from start to finish!! Great support.) Did we seem to be slipping up/falling down all over the park? I lost count of the number of problems we seemed to lose posession through that, and it wasn't any particular individual, it was a lot of the team. And AL seemed frustrated in the 2nd half when that ball from Guly came to him in the box and it bobbled on what looked like an awful penalty area surface. No excuses, both teams had to play on the same pitch and we were well beaten, just an observation. And as soon as Sharpy missed the pen, I honestly thought right there that it was game over. If we could have mugged them for the lead we'd have had the momentum, as it was it went entirely the other way. Quite a few things didn't come off for us today in our passing game that might have worked if we'd been one up and with the subsequent confidence. I also thought Guly was very good, especially in the 2nd half, and that the ref was too f*cking quick to "have a word" in the 1st, a couple of the incidents he pulled Guly up on looked like nothing at all to me. Onwards then. We are still in the driving seat for auto, bring on the skates....
