Bertrand for me, i think he has added lots to the way we play and is solid defensively, alos remeber he's won the European Cup which shows class.

I like to think that our constant singing towards the end of the 1H helped lift the team's performance and got them metally set up for the 2H. That thought kept me going on the long trip home!

He wasn't our best player in our first season back in the premiership, in fact he looked so far off the pace that I thought he might drop out of the first team squad. Last season he improved tremendously but was he better than Morgan, Clyne, Lovren, J-Rod, Jose or Victor???? I don't think so. Don't get me wrong, I liked him a lot but he has burnt his bridges with me after his Liverpool interview (always dreaming of playing for Liverpool - while our captain, kissing our badge and having grown up an Everton fan) and then followed by the pathetic advert in the Echo. I am not bemused, it's very clear to me, he deserves all the bad will he gets.

That's OK, but please don't ever complain about the lack of atmosphere at St.Mary's, it's due in part because you (and others) just want to sit there and watch the game. Nothing wrong with that other than it doesn't create any atmosphere at all.

You called it right back in July, well done!! Even now, at the end of the transfer widiow, after the start of the season there are many posters still justifying their bed wetting and not willing to apologise. Shame on them.

Some very exciting additions and I hope they bond into a good team. Now we have competition for most places and will have a bench capable of implementing plan B when plan A isn't working.

He's definitely a good addition to the team, played well yesterday. He was caught out of position a few times (but that's the risk when playning so high up the pitch), but Yosh tied up with a couple of great tackles.

Golac - you list RoKo's CV which shows that he's actually won something, at 2 different clubs? Sounds like a reasonable bet for us. Not sure how his appointment equates to a "clueless board"?
