Looks a big task lets hope we have some luck Southampton v Liverpool Burnley v Southampton Southampton v Stoke City Newcastle United v Southampton Swansea City v Southampton West Ham United v Southampton Arsenal v Southampton Southampton v Chelsea Leicester City v Southampton Southampton v AFC Bournemouth Everton v Southampton Southampton v Manchester City

The Brighton team showed one change from the team that played well in the previous game against Watford so why make loads of changes The made two changes and brought in a new player yesterday Attacking players still not scoring is our main problem at the moment
-
Exactly you blame the manager I blame the players they earn £millions but continually mess up If they had scored a another goal each month it is likely we would be in the top ten
-
I think it would just be best to support the team all this negative stuff from knobs like you is not helping the team. If you don't like the way the club is run **** off and support another team I doubt the board are happy with how things are and are very likely to be focusing on how to get the team obtain better results but it is not easy. Most football teams cannot succeed all the time just accept it and get behind the team.
-
Our attacking players are just crap at the moment rather like last season
-
You really are deranged sometimes you just have to accept that things don't always go the way you want especially if you are in the relegation zone especially in January I don't think we have had a good window but I don't see many players suitable to SFC have gone elsewhere. We just need Gabbadini Boufal and Redmond to perform to a higher standard
-
and what will that achieve?
-
Euros are a pretty strong currency not sure about the rouble

I can't forecast what you will weigh in 10 years time but I can predict that if you eat a lot of burgers and don't do any exercise you will weigh more than if you eat healthily and go to the gym
-
Well clearly he is not a clown he is managing a team which lacks goal scoring attacking players which has been apparent for the last two seasons Puel had the same problem last season but seems to be doing OK at Leicester. Puel did better last season with VVD playing well we had a better defence and Fraser was not such a liability. Now that McCarthy is fully fit he has been replaced and things are getting better
-
I really can understand how the tactics were disastrous if we actually won you could have said that if we had drawn or lost. Keeping a slender lead is quite common I would have thought but our players recently have not been able to do it surely this will give them confidence. It is not as though the attack is prolific and likely to score goals in the last twenty minutes or at anytime really despite having chances In the last two games no attacking player has scored and although it would be great if we had great attacking players who scored regularly but we don't so at the moment keeping it tight is probably a reasonably good tactic to win or draw games. But of course if we had players like Mane Lallana Lambert and Pelle playing I doubt we would be in the position we are now and I doubt it is not going to get better in the short term even with a new manager especially as we had problems last season under Puel
-
You might not like the tactics but they worked and we won However I would like to know why the manager did not bring on Lemina instead of Yoshi perhaps there was concern if Pied was playing at LB
-
I wonder in what minute Watford will equalise hope they don't but with missed chances penalties not given and top players injured that we have not had the rub of the green this season
-
Yes I agree we already have Boufal and Redmond running round and not doing much
-
Yes get good attacking players get good results praise the manager Get bad attacking players get bad results blame the manager. I just don't think it easy to buy in outstanding and consistent attacking players Over the last 25 years we have managed to acquire what two or three whilst we were in the PL. Every team in the World is looking for them and the better ones are unlikely to want to come here. I think you have to realise that we are a second tier club that is bound to struggle from time to time
-
So not many which was the point I was making getting really good ones is very difficult especially as they cost loads Not much from the Academy either McGoldrick Blackstock Best good Championship strikers If Austin was available most of the time I doubt we would be buying Guido now
-
When was the last time we signed a decent striker whilst we were in the PL
-
This does seem to be a rather stupid comment as for many years a really outstanding player MLT virtually singlehandedly kept us in the PL and no doubt if Kane played for us we would not be in the relegation zone. The main problem we have is not the manager although I am not a fan of MoPe the problem is that players like Boufal Redmond Long and Gabbadini cannot score or assist in other people scoring and this has been apparent since Mane and Pelle left How many Leauge goals have the four I mentioned scored this season
-
So you think it is easy to get a top attacking player who is subject to a relegation clause. I don't that it is why it is difficult to spend our VVD money we should have cashed in in the summer when we were in a decent position. Now I probably think we may have to slug it out with what we have attacking players who hardly ever score. Hopefully things will change but we havenot scored many for nearly a season and a half. The law of averages suggests we should start scoring soon but there is little evidence it is going to happen
-
Will youplease apologise to my dog who has been patiently waiting for a walk for nearly an hour
-
I think I saw him at the Dell in 1966 I think we went 1 up but lost 5 1 RIP jimmy
-
How do you know he knows more than Blackmore and what he says is true
-
On the other hand Blackmore probably knows more about the situation than you or SKD
-
You do seem to be talking a great deal of sense this morning With outstanding attacking players it is hardly surprising that we are struggling this season but we do seem to concede late in games and hardly ever score late ourselves
-
Foreign owners are the problem with the Club It was great when Markhus was here as he seem genuinely interested in the club but since his death it appeared that Katharina just wanted to sell and would not invest in the club and I do not blame her in anyway for what she has done. Now we have a Chinese owner who we know little about and why he has bought the club but there are no signs he wants to invest to make it better. Reed is only an employee and trying to do the best he can under financial constraints that have been imposed although he made a serious error in getting rid of Puel. So if there are protests I think they should be aimed at Foreign owners who in most cases have done little to help similar sized clubs to us apart from Leicester to compete with the big City Clubs
