When was the last time we signed a decent striker whilst we were in the PL

This does seem to be a rather stupid comment as for many years a really outstanding player MLT virtually singlehandedly kept us in the PL and no doubt if Kane played for us we would not be in the relegation zone. The main problem we have is not the manager although I am not a fan of MoPe the problem is that players like Boufal Redmond Long and Gabbadini cannot score or assist in other people scoring and this has been apparent since Mane and Pelle left How many Leauge goals have the four I mentioned scored this season

So you think it is easy to get a top attacking player who is subject to a relegation clause. I don't that it is why it is difficult to spend our VVD money we should have cashed in in the summer when we were in a decent position. Now I probably think we may have to slug it out with what we have attacking players who hardly ever score. Hopefully things will change but we havenot scored many for nearly a season and a half. The law of averages suggests we should start scoring soon but there is little evidence it is going to happen

You do seem to be talking a great deal of sense this morning With outstanding attacking players it is hardly surprising that we are struggling this season but we do seem to concede late in games and hardly ever score late ourselves

Foreign owners are the problem with the Club It was great when Markhus was here as he seem genuinely interested in the club but since his death it appeared that Katharina just wanted to sell and would not invest in the club and I do not blame her in anyway for what she has done. Now we have a Chinese owner who we know little about and why he has bought the club but there are no signs he wants to invest to make it better. Reed is only an employee and trying to do the best he can under financial constraints that have been imposed although he made a serious error in getting rid of Puel. So if there are protests I think they should be aimed at Foreign owners who in most cases have done little to help similar sized clubs to us apart from Leicester to compete with the big City Clubs

Yes very true never thought Walcott was that good a player just a lot of pace without the football nous Always thought OXO was the better player as I remember him scoring two goals in a match one a lob when we were in Div1 which I thought showed great skill and awareness

Could not agree more back six are pretty good The front four inconsistent and unable to score although last season we were creating chances but missing them this season not creating many chances but still missing chances created. It is no wonder MP keeps changing them . However finding goal scorers is not that easy look at Bentecke one goal all season but if we had scored an extra goal each month we could be in the top ten

Quite right most wanted him to stay and not go to Liverpool which I thought was a mistake but that and sacking Puel has helped in getting us in the position we are today. It is easy to identify players who would enhance our team but difficult to actually to get them to sign for a variety of reasons. Our recent signings have been reasonably good so I expect us to bring in two or three players shortly .

If I told you this bollix was drivel Reed and Kruegar have got the club to 6 7 8 in the League in recent seasons and to a Cup Final and the last few signings included Lemina Boufal and Gabbiadini would that make you feel better.

That's rubbish I thought we replaced Mane with Boufal Juanami by Redmond Wanyama by PEH and then brought in Gabbi Replaced Fonte by Hoedt and added Lemina Not sure there is much wrong in theory with these signings
