Who knows, I don't take much notice of figures bandied about in the press, most "quoted" foootballer salaries are vastly hyped. However I bet we're paying Toby a packet. I've seen 5 million € a year but who knows whether that's anywhere near accurate, doubt if he's on 40K£ a week though.
-
Why can't we afford players like Song then? We can waste 22 million on Mané and Long but we can't afford Song.. makes no sense really. We don't need Song but I don't see why the wage of any decent player should be within the possibilities of West Ham and not us.
-
It''s OTT, pretty evident that it's come straight from the desk of our media dept. Cringeworthy, kid did sod all apart from getting booked and getting caught by Nemesis.
-
Hey ho some jingoistic tub thumping from our media department.
-
And those other couple of knobs that Atkins saddled us with for a while, Jonno Quick and whatisname from err Wolves. Kerry Dixon was atrocious as well, McGoldrick actually scored goals from time to time. Just now we need a back up striker with a bit of savvy because Pelle just isn't getting the job done regularly, I'm not a fan of Bambi and JRod....well who knows when we'll see him again. We need someone to come on when Mayuka does and put himself about a bit.
-
Dutch bloke who wants out, clubs stated as 'notified' 2 clubs where dutch blokes are managers...Agent Bolloaks needs to show a bit more imagination really.
-
They sold Diamé to Hull and replaced him with Song, that was a bold move, Diamé had done well for them really. Valencia was a good signing as well, especially when you compare him to say, Mané.
-
Nope, I'm not in charge of the black box.
-
absolutely; then again I'm thinking that Pelle is a bit of a flash in the pan artist. Blows hot and cold, scores some real winners, misses just as many tap ins. Not a real fan just now, looking forward to him getting back to form.
-
At a guess because they already had a decent defence, they signed Song and a couple of Franco-Africans who actually score goals. Top 6 who knows, depends if injuries hit them. Oh and Big Sam treated the C1C with the disdain it deserves as per usual.
-
Sign him up then.
-
Long was 'well off his price tag' from the outset, it's not his fault that we, for some reason or other, paid at least twice his worth. I'd have rather kept Gaston and our 12 million £.
-
Perhaps they're still paying him off for his play off OG
-
Moreno is pretty awful, leaves him exposed against speedy wingers all of the time, their midfield is crap as well, Allen is a class A pansy. Too small to be playing CM in the PL.
-
Nope don't think the League Cup losers get into Europe if the winners are already there, could be wrong. Who lost last year Sunderland was it?
-
who knows really, depends when we can correct our lack of poise in front of goal. Nothing lucky about Eriksen's winner today, looks like a game plan actually, happens too often to be completely random. Spurs look like a fit side with a decent bench, they're using their end of match superiority on occasions, usually away from home.
-
Let's face it, t'was just another in a long series of arbitral f*cks up in favour of Utd, Moreno is an awful player though, how much did they pay for him ?
-
Sterling,Lallana and Coutinho might just exploit Utd's makeshift defence, I mean does Young actually have any defensive attributes ? See a Liverpool win here myself.
-
I'd prefer them to win, don't like them at all but I like Utd even less.
-
And Victor and Morgan both get cards so that we face Everton with ZERO midfielders available, Davis and JWP really doesn't inspire me greatly and Koeman obviously wants nothing to do with Reed for the PL at least.. No game time for Reed even when we're desperately short in midfield is one of the season's great mysteries.
-
re-meltdown then.
-
We will win when Schneiderlin returns.
-
Someone hacked into your account this afty Vectis or was the tea cold and the cakes burnt?
-
Once again what can you expect, he's a very ordinary manager who did about the bare minimum with an exceptionally talented group of players playing well below their level.
