Ralph Krueger - post-match comments in hospitality suite
Window Cleaner replied to SaintBobby's topic in The Saints
Perhaps he thinks we can get to the play-offs eh -
Can't say why they see it that way, I wouldn't even give Deulofeu 6. Everton were very, very poor, it might have not looked that way in the ground but on TV it looked as if they couldn't be arsed most of the time or didn't want to get injured. Barkley,Barry and McCarthy just didn't exist and our lads had a walk through afternoon...did that well though.
-
It was Osman wasn't it ???
-
This is about right, Lovren definitely brought down Osman and it was a penalty to them, they had an offside given against them that wasn't and Delefeou was clean through. We had 2 handballs not given, evened itself out really.

Post-Match Reaction: SAINTS 2-0 Everton

I thought Everton were pretty awful, didn't look interested, let us do what we wanted for most of the game. Saints played well but Everton were poor. -

Indeed very poor today, probably missed Mirallas's contribution to their offensive game . Can't see why people rate either Barkley or Deleofeu (?) very poor players today. Glad to see we're not the only ones who crumble when faced with a raft of key injuries. -

Why should he think he might be going anywhere else ? We've had no enquiries or offers and nobody is probably for sale. Needs to get his ducks in a row with Reed then. -

Good result, we played our usual game and they didn't really turn up, except to score 2 OGs. Poor reffing but as it evened itself out it doesn't really matter. Thought Clyne added another dimension today. -
Undecided about today, hoping for at least a good game but I can see us getting crushed.
-
He only came on as a sub when we beat Newcastle last month. We were already leading 3-0 I think.
-
However when you reflect on it all the popular press has goaded us into doing something we don't usually do, commenting on rumours.
-
Well for whatever reason they must then believe that they're right and Les Reed isn't. Who knows, it's football.
-
Not to mention all the other front players that they have, like Valencia, Moyes didn't rate him but he's a damn fine player who can double at RB as well. Utd's main area of concern must be their CBs and a DM to partner and eventually replace Carrick.
-
He'll need to learn to shoot first. Bales greatest asset at his debuts with us was his dead ball ability.
-
That will be offset by the fact that Liverpool players form the nucleus of the side.
-
Age does not count really, if you're at a top club you're expected to do the job whether you're 10 or 40. Bale has nothing whatsoever to do with it, he was a LB with us but Tottenham converted him into a MF because of his incredible acceleration. If Cole was playing regularly Shaw would not be in the England squad, I suspect Flannagan might well get in in front of him in the near future as well. Better player all round.
-
MP is in fact favourite for the job with De Boer coming up on the rails again but at this moment the vacancy doesn't actually exist.
-
Too expensive, some of the figures that have been bandied about (and go up by the day) are nonsensical. Anyone who honestly believes that anyone is going to give us 30 million for Shaw needs to get some reality tablets. There are left backs available who are equally as good as Shaw for 7 or 8 million, may be less. I'll give 2 starters for 10, Kurzawa and Riccardo Rodriguez, better players all round, a quarter of the price and probably half of the money (or less).....................
-
And Bournemouth's share... That alone makes Lallana pretty unsaleable unless we're content to end up with not much of quite a lot.
-
Depends whether you count Monaco in France really they play in the French league, Kurzawa is probably the best left back in France although some might tell you that it's the young Digne (but they're PSG supporters and their opinion certainly doesn't count, he never plays so how would they know that anyway).
-
Told you so. We won't see him again, well unless it's for about 2 minutes of the Utd game to wave goodbye to his fans..or should that be fan.
-
Morgan signed up when, last Febuary I think because he was out of contract last summer, didn't stop Real Sociedad bidding 16 miilion euros for him though, didn't want to go there and Cortese turned them down, it's no secret, he talked about it in one of his fairly frequent French press interviews . What is fairly noticeble is the candour that he has in his fairly frequent interviews, always says what he thinks about most things, rarely evasive. Don't see that from many other Saints players, perhaps those that give interviews to the foreign press that I've not seen perhaps.
-
Media speculation will never stop, it's what they do. Should we up a players contractual terms they'll just say it's to screw more money out of potential buyers. Allowing players to negociate new contracts could also allow them to insert buy out clauses. I've no idea if any of our players have those but it may well be the case already.

To me JWP is nowhere near good enough of late but I really don't see that we'll have much choice tomorrow, unless you fancy starting Guly of course because that's what it comes down to. The only other alternative is to do as I think I might have suggested on the odd occasion () and play Chambers in midfield in a 4-1-2-2-1 system with Vic as the anchor, Chambers and Cork in front f him and Davis and Lallana in front of them again. This willl not happen though.
