Much as I feared in the build-up to this game. Without at least one of MS and VW we are open to all comers at the back. Cork is a decent player but he needs a strong, fast man alongside him. Our left side of defence is weak because Shaw for all of his ability isn't great defensively. If we don't have hard man in front of him to cover most of his defensive work then we are often exposed.
-
We weren't pressing for more goals, we just can't defend correctly that's all.
-
I presume you mean Soldado there. So was Ericssen, wish we had him, so if they want to swap him for JWP I'd not protest.
-
Not even when we were 2-nil up ?? If we had just got tonked from the start it would probably have been easier to accept.
-
Yes Maya is OK but today Lovren was very exposed, in theory he shouldn't even have had to go out wide to contest the ball with Soldado. It's the same old story, we are very frail when we're attacked wide on our left hand side.
-
We'll learn when we have a better squad. 4 or 5 good signings are absolutely necessary this summer, if the owner doesn't want to finance them then she should sell us to someone who will, otherwise we'll risk doing a West Brom or Swansea next season.
-
I know that we've not won a PL game this season without Morgan, absolutely pivotal to our side,
-
JRod was injured today, never really recovered from that hefty tackle that he took in the first half. Lovren looked injured as well, played on though, might have done as well to go off, not sure that Mauricio really rates Maya and certainly not on the left which was already exposed by the wimpish performance of JWP.
-
Marseille are running after Mauricio, he'd be wise not to go there though.
-
No he didn't, he can't tackle and is useless in the air, he may be a very bright prospect as an AM but as a DM he is just a no-hoper.
-
Of course we missed them, they are 2 of the best players in the PL.
-
you are not wrong, totally pointless playing him as a DM. Trying to rest zen but we need to spend some serious money before next season, a lot of these academy lads just aren't good enough when we come under pressure.
-
Injured, hip flexor, could be just a knock or a strain, no doubt Canal + will inform me of which later on, they talk to him a lot.

Depends on the type of satellite, those used in "sensitive observation zones" would be of a far higher resolution than most. Don't doubt those used over Pakistan in the track of Bin Laden were KH12s or 13s, enhanced imagery satellites. I believe I read somewhere that some of these images come from "commercial" satellites.

West Ham are awful, how did we lose there ? Why exactly they're playing Diamé as a right winger just defies explanation, he dribbles like a block of concrete. Where's Jarvis ?
-
Because Lovren and Chambers have both played in midfield, don't think Maya ever has, might be wrong. My choice would to play José and Maya at the back with Dejan just in front of them as a sort of sentinel with 2 CMs in front of him and 2 AMs in front of them, 1 striker.
-
We cannot possibly know that yet. Anyone who's stuck a pin in a map has as good a chance as anyone else. However the Australian search zone did look too far south to me.
-
Chambers was a MF before we turned him into a RB right ? We have a good player at Rb already, if MS VW and JC are out then we need a realistic option in their stead, Lovren or Chambers are the obvious solutions. What we do not want to do, as DM would say, is go to WHL with a pair of 5ft 7" rookie DMs. JWP has been absolutely atrocious when he's played there this season, to complement him with Reed is a recipe for disaster. By all means give Reed his chance but at least put him with someone who can tackle and has the height to help out in the air at the back.
-
I sincerely hope not, we would get taken apart. Our CMs defend quite well, they are all fairly big blokes who win a few aerial duels, probably about half of them at least, if we go to WHL with 2 diminutive CMs like that they will destroy us because their MF is chunky.

And would not being subscribed for the satellite version of ACARS (as is the case of Malaysia Airlines) change the way data is transmitted to and from satellites ?
-
I think he's only trial with them just now. They may or may not offer him a contract next season but it would depend on how much compensation they might have to give us.
-
I have read somewhere that in fact the ACARS system cannot be totally switched off, just put on standby. In fact switching the ACARS off on China flights is apparently quite common because there isn't VHF coverage (is that right) and it forces the system into SATCOMM mode. However there are so many "contributions" on this subject that one doesn't really know what to take as gospel. Might be useful to put up the link, so I've found it again, I'm sure that someone will tell us it's total bullsh*t though. http://www.nst.com.my/latest/font-color-red-missing-mh370-font-acars-cannot-be-disabled-1.521314?cache=wixtvnujghdrti I do somewhat agree with the last line about military capability though, there is so much hidden technology out there that it has become quite frightening.
-
Well we are offloading players, those who've been here for years and not really made the grade. It's better for them to get some contacts with other clubs now (especially if they're in the Championship) and not just be part of the mass of players scrubbing around for contracts in the summer. Every club does it, we're just doing it in the right way, giving these lads a chance to show what they can do in what I call "real football" because they'll not get a chance in the first team at SFC.
-
Indeed because it is used as the primary reason to disprove the theory where the flight crew could have been overcome by smoke (or something) and attempted a desperate turn back towards somewhere they knew. I've given up following this drama closely but this always comes back to me whenever I think on it. How can anyone possibly know that, if they knew by some electronic transmission that it had been done they might have known the plotted course.

It was in the press and no doubt on this very forum a couple of days earlier 8th/9th November perhaps.
