Might as well give the money to some good work or other. The bookies already have enough free gift money.

I know nothing about him. However when you look at all of the dross signed from France by the likes of West Ham, Newcastle, Sunderland etc you just have to be watchful. Good players in conditions that suit them but many just aren't adaptable to the pace and aggression of the premier league.
-
Toulouse are absolute rubbish and all of their players are Championship standard at best. We need to learn from Boufal, Carrillo and Lemina. If it comes from France, is over 20 and Real and Barca don't want it, leave it be.
-
Avoid all cup runs unless we're well placed in the league. Have a very detrimental effect on average sides do cup runs.
-
Sell them to any club who has any use for them I expect.
-
But they will be so might as well not waste any time or effort over it.

Monaco paid the French federation a one off 50 million euros payment (over 2 years) to sort out just the financial inequality. Their French players pay tax in France. The others don't. Falcao and Rodriguez left because the owner got divorced and needed money. Was Falcao ever transferred though, just loaned out twice maybe. If there was any sort of income tax in Monaco all yer stars of this that and the other wouldn't live there. You know that the late Johnny Hallyday wanted to be recognised as Belgian instead of French so that he could live in Monaco and not pay any tax anywhere? Didn't work so he settled for Switzerland and California. -
Reports the other day that he was going to a Saudi club or something like that? There was a thread I believe. Wasn't the final word from an ITK that it was just crap?

Looked pretty great. If only those of them still in possession of those awful last season's shirts could now ditch them that woud be super. They look so tacky.
-
But they have no control over whether Hughes gets relegated or not so it really isn't worth any consideration. Time has come to put a stop to the dripping on about relegation and the nervous nellying. We have done what was needed, be content and proud.
-
Perhaps but from the 20 minutes or so that I saw of their game with Huddersfield some of their players look like they've had enough. Plenty of them are at over 50 games for the season so far and have another 5 or 6 to go. Just can't see 100 points being any particular motivation to them now.
-
Might not even have gone to Swansea.
-
Right. I thought Boufal still played for Morocco and Hojbjerg for Denmark.
-
We still have a goodly number of WC candidates though don't we? Half of the team perhaps ?
-
Perhaps but not before getting roughed up a bit. Anyway I doubt that it matters, can't see us losing by any more than one or two if that. Think we may even win, players and crowd will be full of confidence. Last day at home for Saints is usually pretty good. Anyone got the last day stats at home for say the last 10 years ?
-
Hopefully Brighton will give them a bit of a hard time this evening.
-
Good attacking side against weak opposition.

The best player in MLS ever.... Bradley Wright-Phillips?

Really? What were the criteria then? -
Swansea's last results are very, very poor. Lost 4 out of 6 and drew the other 2. We on the other hand have a win and 2 draws in our last 3 games. By the form book we are favourites for this game.
-
Not really. A draw would leave both sides needing points on Sunday. There is no reason whatsover that we can't get points against Citeh. It is difficult but not impossible. Huddersfield drew at the Etihad, there is no certainty that we can't get whatever is needed. We have good players who've gotten good results before.
-
They're a desperate, American owned club though aren't they.
-
I expect us to win, Swansea's form really isn't great and we've been better these last few games. Thus relegation will be avoided barring a severe thumping on Sunday. That won't happen though because the players will be bouyed up and a last day crowd will get behind them. Why we may even beat City.
-
QUOTE=Batman;2625381]That is what I think. Now Huddersfield got that unexpected point, winning yesterday would have us in the exact same position as we are now. Except that our prospects of getting a point or points against City now look better. What's not to like, last day of the season, massive crowd behind the team..City will certainly crumble anyway .
-
Err last Saturday ? It was the easiest game on our run in thus a vital one to win.
-
Might be handy if Huddersfield rough them up a bit this afternoon, make them think twice next Sunday sort of thing.
