Good news, imo

I dont even know where to start with how bad we were today.. 1, it was like watching the old saints again, under the dutch last year 2, pardew failed to make the right decisions at the right times, waigo should of been on much sooner, and arguably in a more central role, he was non existent on the wing where antonio had already been shut out of the game, the whole game we lacked anyone running at them and this lead to frustrating long ball football 3, at what point did we become a long ball team? the football we have been playing of late has been a healthy mixture of some long balls and a lot of passing and moving, even hitting the by line, but today we were solidly long ball, and it was never EVER going to work .. 4, the long ball football basically meant we were playing with one striker the whole game, as if connolly can head the ball, he's too short, he was beaten to everything in the air, by just constantly lobbing balls at their centre backs, we were never going to acheive anything .. 5, there was absolutely nobody who had a GOOD game, some people had an average game (e.g llana, lambert, antonio at spells) but mostly the team was DIRE 6, our back four looked like they were tired, and not up for it, and expecting a routine match ...after all the stuff harding has been spouting in the press about us being up for it etc, he looked very lack lustre in the first half (slightly better in second) generally speaking, what a load of cr*p, but hopefully pardew will make the right decisions, say the right things, pick us up, and move us on, because if we play like that against norwich, we are in MAJOR. p.s also thought the officiating was very slow today, the time wasting from brighton was not acceptable and the ref was being made a mug of by their goalie, he should of reprimanded him after the first few offences. that is all, off to pub to drown sorrows..

In the double result section of willhill.com brighton then saints is getting 20/1, not a bad shout .. you can get 5/1 on michail antonio to score at ANYTIME and 6/1 for spiderman to score at ANYTIME and he's due a goal to be fair .. quite hard to find good value because of the home advantage and our current form My prediction would be either 2-1, 3-0, or 3-1, with a combination of goal scorers, but like i said the odds arent great value on any scorecasts ..

We need to beat them in the league game now.. otherwise we are going to have a psychological barrier to over come when we play them in the JPT ...also, this is probably the most attractive fixture, is it going to be on sky??? = not good for attendance Just watching huddersfield absolutely destroy wycombe, good for us in terms of relegation candidates, bad for us in that we want the boys at the top to do badly as well ..argh this us being on the bottom but should be at the top is getting confusing!

ive got the saints crest on my right hand side of my right calf/shin on my leg ...its a little bigger than i would of liked, due to it being my first tattoo, never really had any grief about it, although at the oasis gig in hedge end it attracted a lot of saints nut cases as well as lot of pompey nutters, on holiday on a beach in the al garve once i looked to my right and some chap had exactly the same on his shoulder so we got talking, and about 3 or 4 blokes in my local pub all have saints tattoo's so its a standing joke to come to away games with us you need a tatt, other than that, its really down to the person whether they feel strongly enough to get one or not, like i said, if i could do it again id have a scaled down crest instead of full size one cos i feel it over takes my leg abit ...

FA cup serious because it would be nice to draw pompey at some stage, JPT serious because its our only seriously likely route to wembley this year ...so normal starting 11, with a few fringe players out to impress on the bench ...

i think we will have a blip, traditional saints style, in a game we should win ...after all, we are used to losing when we are spose to win, and winning when we are spose to lose, its what saints do so well, so im gonna put us down for a draw i think .. 1 - 1 or 2 - 2 with schneiderlin to score, so get your money on him!

saw papa in 90 degree last night with morgan having a drink and with two absolute stunners ..some drunkard even attempted to 'do the papa waigo' infront of him, he just had a quick chat and gave him a high five! was weird when you turn round and theres two saints players next to you as town was pretty empty being a sunday ..

my small gripes with the club: 1, when the contract for carlsberg ends can we get some selection in, decent beers, ales, lagers, bitters etc ...maybe we could have a harlequins rugby style bar...lots of choice 2, the club website is like a giant advert, if we are owned by a billionaire cant we have our own individual official website free of adverts??? theres even adverts in the middle of the articles, no i dont want to bet on paddy power and no i dont want to buy your crappy conquest game on pc!!! 3, the wall on britannia road somebody has engraved PFC which is about as clear as day if your sat in your car quew'ing to get home, surely there must be some fans in town that can remedy having such a blemish on such a key walk way to our stadium??? thats about it, like someone else said, would probably drink wee for us to get promoted this year ..lol
