True, but whilst Hammond is a worker, he's a very slow one. If we could get a worker with pace, then we'd be laughing. A slow centre midfield will get found out quickly in the Championship imo.

Not got enough pace to do his job to a good standard in NPC IMO. He'd probably be okay for a bottom half finish, but need someone better if we want to aim for the play-offs.

I know a certain London Saint who hasn't missed a game- Home/Away, League/Cup, friendlies, preseason tours abroad- the lot, for over 25 years. Beat that!

Missed one home league game, been to 13 away games and 2 cup games I think. So 37. Disappointing compared to last season!

Right. I have been to nearly every game this season, and the same for the last few seasons. I have gone from really hoping we would win but knowing deep down we would probably lose, to really fearing we will lose but knowing deep down that we might just snatch that win. Thus I am very nervous about the game tomorrow, as I will be during the game, and I'd never be cocky about it, this is Saints after all, but I know really that we're a f*cking good team on this league and have a great chance of winning it.

Still think Craig Mackail-Smith would be a great signing, whichever league we're in. Think we would need a bit of pace added as whilst we can deal with one player (Lambert) being slow, having him as well as someone of Hammond's speed behind him could he suicidal! If I could make 3 signings it would be a CB in the Jaidi mould, an athletic and dominant CM and a quick moving 'of the shoulder' type striker.

Beat Brentford and we're up, fail to beat them and the pressure of having to get something at Plymouth may prove too much IMO, as I also think Huddersfield will beat Brighton.
