Don't forget you have to get from London Victoria to Charlton. Or are they running football special ones?

Team to tame the Shrews (Build up thread)
for_heaven's_Saint replied to Shroppie's topic in The Saints
Oxo brings some much needed balance to the team. We're now as much as a threat down the right as we have been down the left. Would not like to be a shrews fullback today. -
There was an article in the metro (I think) today about how they debated refusing to play on tv. There was a quote along the lines ofif we'd have got Southampton away, we'd have made the decision te other way', presumably because playing us would have made themas much money as ESPN paid. Which was apparantly around £67,000.

I'd go if I could afford it.

Walsall Away Train Deals
for_heaven's_Saint replied to Footballfan's topic in Saints Away Supporters
You can get a mega bus to Birmingham £14 return then a return from Birmingham to Walsall for £4.90. Therefore if you don't mind getting a bus you can get a return for £18.90. -
I just can't palate threads like this. I know it's Tongue in cheek but unless anyone here is an incisor in the camp I suggest you all stop with the lip before you receive simolar threats from the club as the last big mouth. NA fought tooth and nail for this job.

If he has got false teeth, how can we believe a word he says?

No rainbow thread would be complete without this: http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=8603229737650916728#

A very fair analysis. A little like the statue in your avatar I guess.

When saintsplayer say 'all angles covered', what they actually mean is they have a few shaky cameramen in ridiculous positions getting blurry shots of the goals.
-
That is embarrassing.

Take them on holiday to Portugal, give them an overdose, then pretend someone has stolen them. Oh.

Also very impressed so far, but as others say the next 3 games are huge. 7 points out of 9 and I'll be happy. RE handling Chamberlain- he's renowned for nurturing young talent.

I don't think the managers should be getting involved. I'm sure Nigel Adkins had nothing to do with the comments on the website as he seems a very respectful man.

I do think he looks like a beast. Don't think having him and Bignall up front together is ever going to work though as he needs someone else up there who can receive the ball from the defence/midfield and hold it up a bit.

This is basically what happened to me, but I never got a free taxi :-(

Did you know that Earle Gray helped abolish slavery?

As most have said, I always hold the door open for anyone. I also say 'don't mention it' if I get no thanks. Leading on from the OP and the risk of being accused of being sexist, agest etc, I always find this problem with giving up my seat on buses and the tube. There are a lot of people who get offended if you offer your seat to them. I'm not sure if there's meant to be some sort of age restriction where you only offer your seat to people over 65, but short of asking their date of birth it's hard to tell!

It would be ridiculous to make all of those changes. And I take it you weren't at Notts on Saturday? If either of the CMs is to be dropped it would be Morgan.

There were a lot of 'casuals' about yesterday and clearly looking for trouble, overheard one group trying to organise where to meet for a fight. Your son got unlucky and I suspect be wasn't the only one. I was walking round for a bit on my own and think had I been wearing colours I may have met some trouble myself.

I actually asked him this and I'm afraid he couldn't remember. He did however say he remembered one of the goals we scored in the game was Terry Paine and it was against an ex-arsenal keeper?! I don't know whether that is accurate or not but he was a genuinely lovely bloke and at 81 and still going to st marys, a true saint.
