We have more chance of signing Austin Powers IMO. We already have Dr Evil in centre midfield...

That team looks a bit one sided

Let's have a look at some possible on-field battles based on their 3rd round team and as close to the team that played Blackpool as we'll probably have available: Lambert Vs Ferdinand Barnard Vs Evans Guly Vs Rafael Chamberlain Vs Evra Harding Vs Nani Schniederlin Vs Fletcher Chaplow Vs Carrick Richardson Vs Giggs Martin Vs Hernandez Seaborne Vs Berbatov Hmmmmmm...

Not sure if it's been mentioned already but Lawrie gets into games for free anyway, in the ex-saints' box, so I don't really think he needs or even wants free tickets.

Without wanting to depress myself any further by reading others' comments, I shall just say that game reminded me of watching us away in our champ relegation season. Absolutely awful.

I think it's fairly unlikely they'll sing about a player who left 2 years ago!

Indeed, and there's no way we're going to pay over a million for anyone unless they're a 'first name on the teamsheet' type player like Fonte or Lambert. Is it the right wing Pilkington plays on?

For the sake of an inch I'd much rather keep Richardson in the team, who I think is very solid, more so than Butterfield. Especially when you consider that Tranmere's main attacking threat comes from the left wing in Dale Jennings. If Chaplow and Hammond are both injured we may see Puncheon in the middle with Harding Lb and Dickson Lm.

Seems crazy that footballers can earn so much for so long and be left with nothing to show for it.

I thought 'f*ck off back to Winchester' was mildly amusing last time.

He's going to score against United.

Would love to do that. Not sure I'd be able to raise the £2000 though.

But Howe looks like he could easily be in Adkins' year 8 Geography class.

Will take him a while to find a league with more than 24 teams.

Ah yes good point. Forgot he came from Exeter.

Hopefully Tisdale would put in a good word about us if we bid and it's a decision between us and Brighton.

Disneyland Paris of course!

I'll be very very surprised if we sign him.

Can we please sign a keeper with good distribution?

Agree on both counts. So long as we win tomorrow I don't think there's much to worry about. Don't think we've ever been top in my lifetime.

Bournemouth 1-0 up.

Eddie! Eddie! Eddie! Eddie!
