  3. If so, we (The London Saints) still have a handful of tickets left for our ex-saints evening, being held at the Counting House pub in Bank at 7.30pm. Ex-Saints are a charitable organisation who regularly play matches and attend functions in order to support their favoured good causes. This year they are raising money and awareness for the following- Peter Osgood Trust - helping disabled and under-privileged children enjoy football Kevin Moore – Saints stalwart who suffers from fronotemporal dementia (an early form of dementia). The Cedar School - local school helping physically disabled children. Basically the night is a chance to meet and chat to numerous ex-saints players, have a drink with other Saints fans in London and raise money for charity at the same time. The night will consist of an informal 'forum' in which you will have the chance to take to the mic to ask a question to one of the players, followed by general 'mingling', where you can chat to them, have your photo with them etc. There will also be a buffet, a raffle and a silent auction. The following players have been confirmed and we are hoping to get a couple more on the day: Jimmy Case (midfileder, 1981-1991) Ruben Agboola (defender, 1980-85) Mel Blyth (defender 1974-77) Jimmy Case (midfielder 1985-91) John Christie (goalkeeper 1950-59) Glenn ****erill (midfielder 1985-93) Norman Dean (forward 1965-66) Mick Earles (defender 1973-75) Hughie Fisher (midfielder 1966-77) Tony Godfrey (goalkeeper 1958-66) Tommy Hare (defender 1965-66) Denis Hollywood (defender 1962-72) David Hughes (midfielder 1991-2000) Wes Maughan (forward, 1958-62) Brian O'Neil (midfielder, 1970-74) And Lawrie McMenemy. Tickets cost £15, with all the proceeds from the night going to the aforementioned charities. We have already raised nearly £3000 and are hoping to get it up to at least the £4000 mark. Please let me know if it is something you may be interested in.
  4. Meeting him on Friday!
  5. Apparently Mark Draper is Notts County's kit man?!
  6. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/18/20101026/tod-australian-tattooist-charged-over-ru-879dccc.html LOL
  7. Well Nick Holmes played 543 games for us...
  8. On the flip side, we also rarely concede from corners. Maybe our defenders are so good at defending them that the attackers never have a chance to practise scoring from them!
  9. There's a JPT final DVD but not sure about a season review.
  10. Yet when we get a free kick 2 yards from the corner flag we score from it!
  11. Just had a look and after Nottingham at the Weekend, I'll have done 45 of the 92. Also hoping to do 5 more this season. I'm only 21 so I'm hoping to be able to one day say I've done them all.
  12. Beat both Brighton and Peterborough within the space of 4 days, then I'll be confident of promotion.
  13. Sales of 'saints go Wilde' tshirts must have dried up.
  14. Lol, just when I thought they'd gotten away with it. Come on Gaydamak, just hang on.
  15. I've watched a lot of episodes of Miami Ink and there seems to be a lot of tattooed people, as well as girls in bikinis.
  16. "Bale not for sale, Bale Bale not for..." oh.
  17. Hopefully it's unreserved so I don't have to sit next to you
  18. Got my ticket, should be a good one.
  19. I saw Mr Motivator in sports soccer, haven't done much else, but still got 4 years.
  20. Why's that? We're playing an average team, we've had an average set of results and are in a below average place in the league table. An average attendance, which is still going to be top 2 if not top of the attendances for league one and above most championship and a few premiership gates, would be very good.
  21. LOL, it's not even as if it's necessary to have a middle name.
  22. I agree, West Brom have got it right, living within their means and always having something to play for come the end of the season. Maybe we could go up and down together some day? We can both dream...
