Trousers do you think ERS dropped the 'n' in recognition of Johnny B's expertise in sausage hiding? -

What with that hot and stylish? Ferrari (in red). JB must be use to pinging knicker elastic at 100 yards driving around Southampton on his own in that beast with Fleetwood Mac blaring out of his cassette deck. Dude alert! -

Why? Does she have twin exhaust pipes? BTW Steve, I made a deposit this evening and then instructed a payment via Internet Banking, payment date 20th. -
David Armstrong on Talksport on the next hour
Nineteen Canteen replied to saint_bert's topic in The Saints
I can't believe Armstrong didn't say 'I can't possibly comment on League 1 as I never played their in my career or experienced relegation or had to overcome a 10 point deficit. Waste of time getting Armstrong on because if it didn't happen to him in his playing days he couldn't possibly comment. Please god I pray he is not the summariser on the new version of Radio Hampshire. Guess we'll need to be happy with Solent's version of Murray Walker, cab for Merrington! -
Bruce Willis?

By your logic the same should apply to Crouch, Corbett, Wilde and all. If they want to buy a tickets or a box then charge them full admission and make em park in West Quay. Their money is as good as anyone elses but that should not confer privileges over any other ordinary supporter. I would like Leon to sit next to me, so many questions though. Half time wouldn't be long enough especially if he didn't get back until the 52nd minute having queued for 20 minutes to get Lawrie's Bovril.

Hallelujah! We don't need old names from our past to experience halcyon days in the future even though they may have helped deliver some happy memories. IMO, history should dictate that anyone in our recent past who has meddled with club matters be they legends, those less than legendary (Dave Armstrong, Gordon Strachan, Paul Tisdale, anyone with a surname of Dennis, Kevin Keegan etc) rich fans, or ex directors should buy a ticket if they want to remain in touch with the club. Beyond that, their contribution and opinions should not be sought. Welcome to the 21st Century almost 10 years to late. The club is beginning to show signs of being well run and those who want to rock the boat......:smt039

I would go with a picture of LM and buy some darts. Why? Because he is to date our greatest manager but IMO has used up all the good will that he earned in that role by some his poisonous comments about how the club was being run and taking sides when frankly he should have been a diplomat and arbitrator. We should also not forget that after his time as manager and failure at Sunderland he was welcomed back and for many years was allegedly well looked after financially with alleged claims that would make an MP blush. IMO McMenemy post his managerial role took more than he gave and a very good greeter and shaker he may have been but ambassador in the true meaning or the word he was not. As always this is just my humble opinion before Gaffer, Scally and co start chucking out the legalise.

Not soon enough - a representation of what is wrong in our society today. Her funeral was an undignified disgrace.

OK Um Pahars you win, but before I leave this particular argument let me say the following: You are guilty of a very cheap and ongoing and thinly veiled attack and a deeply prejudice one at that. How many more times can you draw attention to my condition another 3 times I see in your last post above. Would you do the same if I wore a turban, perhaps was a muslim, or had coloured skin, or was physically or mentally handicapped or both? Still it kind of fits your profile and I have read with interest how you interact with even your alleged 'buddies' or moreover the way they tolerate you. You know nothing about me but latched on to an admission I made and was basically forced to make because of an absolute confidence I thought i had in someone and who proved to be as morally bankrupt as you, regradless of how little they let be known. For some that was all they needed and yet I am still here. So yes I had my fingers burnt and yes I feel let down but I won't shy away from making an opinion or succumb to the taunts from friendless individuals like yourself. I have learned a lot from my experiences Um and just from your musings all I feel for you is pity and remember if you keep putting 18amps through a 13 amp fuse eventually the fuse will blow, it didn't mean the fuse was weak in the first place, far from it allegedly as I can't remember. There is a good thread on the Arts forum about sad songs. I recommend my two selections. If I may leave you with a quote, tonight I feel like some Blake, so just for you Um: Mock on, Mock on: tis all in vain! You throw the sand against the wind And the wind blows it back again.. I am not going to mention this again because it is what it is and nothing I can do about it. I am happy to call a truce if you are and if not I hope you can stop your troubling fascination with my health. Rubbish my opinions by all means but unlike our previous run in unlike me you are not operating under a readily justifiable misunderstanding so please be careful how you carry on.

Why? Far to many legends.

One short post and you feel the need to repeat yourself 3 times on something you know little about. I think your stick is out - as usual Um Pahars. Others before you tried to get that thread closed and I asked after 4 posts but it wasn't until the thread reached posts numbered in the 60's. Don't worry Um your 'concern' is noted. I assume barking was 'no pun intended'

BMW and Audi drivers. Oh sorry you said indicate. -
Quite, so follow your advice especially as you know 0.5% of the reality assuming the integrity of Derry and a n other can be trusted.

I have made lots of sensible suggestions of better qualified candidates. Seek my posts and you shall find.

When he recruited him? If Pearson had a year to run on his contract Lowe would have been unable or unlikely to be able to pay him off and would have had no choice for the 'great hope' to really prove his worth. I don't know what Pinnacle has to do with it you bought it up in your earlier post saying he was 'their' first choice or whatever it was you said. I'm not in your face Gaffer I am challenging your opinion.
-
I know, it proves he got a few things right didn't he and had the foresight to bring in Strachan when one or two eyebrows were raised. Crouch should have given Pearson a contract and backed the courage of his conviction after advising us Dodd and Gorman were the best available or words to that effect. Economical or simply blinkered to the reality as usual, Gaffer. I don't think Pinnacle could ever be classed as a bid from what I have read so time to remove your head.

No mention of football or tactics.
-
Agreed, fitness and set pieces are one thing but so is tactics and making best use of the limited resources at your disposal. This is the man who preferred Idiakez and the prolific Licka to Surman and destroyed the lad by playing him at LB, why? For Surman's tackling prowess. May be ok as a fitness coach but as a manager I think it will be proven he has led a charmed life so far. If he stays at Leicester the pudding may already be in the eating process.
-
Wes, I was smiling before you dropped my name into proceedings. What is the nature of his fall out with Milan do we know? Either way I think we can do a lot better than Pearson. Didn't turn us around as quickly as say Clough did at Derby in a similar position. In fact he took us to the brink where we were relying on others to slip up and save us. We need to look overseas or a young manager in the mould of D Ferguson or Clough. Failing that I would not be oppose to Wise and Poyet trying to do the impossible once again. Pearson? Never understood the post season fuss with him and still don't with the resources he had at his disposable last season with Leicester.

No more questions, the prosecution rest's it's case. (Can I suggest you hook up with John Smith on the main forum. I have an inkling you may get on rather well) :smt015 -
De Matteo, the ex- Swansea manager whose names escapes me at the moment, Poyet and no doubt a few others. I agree with BelgianSaint this jingoistic 'British' manager basically means a loud mouth English bloke big on shouting, short on tactical nous. For example, Stuart Pearce, Nigel Pearson, Nigel Warnock and where they try to be different you get the likes of Steve McLaren, Gareth Southgate and Kevin Keegan. No thanks, I think we should go European or Scottish - Craig Levene.
