Im not saying he isnt an option, he is, and is a good player. But why everyone all of a sudden thought he could play the No.10 tonight is beyond me, he cant. His inclusion tonight wouldnt have made a difference as the midfield were just passengers. Davis we missed, Cork we didnt. There is a reason that Cork hasnt got a new contract, its the other 4 CMs that can play in that position (granted he is better than two of them)
-
Well he isnt, and so Cork isnt first choice. Davis is

Your english got better quickly Hi glasgow

Cork isnt a no.10 though, nor is schneiderlin or Wanyama Maybe he coukd have played Tadic behind Pelle (which pre match is what I thought he would do) but not Cork

Can someone sum up what carra n gary have to say, im watching Walking dead And if thats as crap as last week then itll have been a really crappy monday

Villa played well... Well, at what they did anyway. Plenty of poor performances tonight, but all in all a decent point away to a stubborn side. Afraid it sums up our lack of depth. I await the 'we have no plan B' gang, clearly ignoring the lack of any bench options last year and this
-
Yup, hutton of note too. Villa got their tactics spot on.... Again
-
Okore motm for me
-
Great goal there
-
Because they wont add anything, hence why he brought on Mayuka. They are sitting back and getting compact, nicking possession and rushing forward. Basically the midfield is bypassed. Therefore there isnt any point going 3 in the middle. You need width and pace. You cant 'try anything' without viable options imo. We need Jay back or sign another winger in jan
-
No options on the bench basically, same as under poch

No more bouncing boobs, images too large...

Cool Just trying to get you to use all your posts so I dont need to hear you droning on. Think of it as taking one for the team as it were. Still a complete bellend I see

Villa doing a good job on him the few times we have directed anything his way, crowding him out. Crossing been poor too. We seem more interested in hitting long balls wider, dont know why, may be because of a lack of joy through Pellè
-
Sorry ? Would you prefer Rhodes ?
-
Should have been that way from the start, stretch them. You cant do a lot in defence of their tactic, they have nothing except soak up pressure and try to release Gabby. Cork won't do a lot to change that. Unfortunately there is basically nothing on the bench to chamge things positively, which was Poch's problem as well FWIW, lets see if Koeman drastically 'changes' things, my guess is not really, because he cant.

Theres some mongo's on here tonight, take off a wide man and stick on another cm !! Righto
-
Nope, but hardly the end of the world, 11 wins out of 13 isnt bad going
-
Welcome back Alps
-
Why would you do that ? They are sticking 10 men behind the ball which makes a midfield effectively redundant. They are getting tight and compact around their box, a pretty little midfielder wont help us break that down. You need pace and width, and so we just need to carry on. If anything Pellè is coming far too deep, just like what Lambert did last year. His flicks arent finding anyone, if anything id push Long up on Clark who is sweeping behind Okore

Get over it you tart
