Nice to see NC addressing his Major flaw and doing some PR work and speaking to the media. Good idea if not a tad overdue. Good to hear some confirmation that everything is still in place for the 5 year plan. Hopefully some of the mongs will simmer down on the whole devil incarnate side of things.

Quite similar to mine, first season i won league 1 though with 99 points (closely followed by Peterborough on 96) and the second i am well top of the championship at christmas, i will be honest though, i would rather have another year in the championship to build. I only got 500k to spend in the champ, what did you get ? That said they did upgrade the youth and training grounds to the top quality ones, but now the club is finances insecure Pompey are in the prem aswell, *****rs.

Get the patch and it should sort it out. I am getting crap loads of penalties though. Won league 1 !!!! get in. Though they only gave me 500k to spend in the NPC, luckily they changed my expectations in january (league 1) and gave me 5 million which enabled me to get the players i need for an NPC campaign. Brandy is a beast, i also got Smithies on the cheap, great player. Chamberlains attributes aren't great but he constantly gets about a 7 match rating, i am not seeing a lot of improvement yet anyways.

This actually isn't that bad of a point. I certainly wouldn't want the details of when my house is vacant to be made public on a public forum. But then, the flipside of that arguement is i suppose it is no different to playing in europe ?? Or away ?

If only we had a young and upcoming player 2 years (and more ?) younger than Antonio but already showing he has a footballing brain, can effectively cross a ball but also has direction and attacking ambition in his game...........oh TBF Ox has effectively plugged the Antonio gap, was free and is ours, he looks another excellent prospect so far provided he stays clear of injury. Saying we should have paid over the odds for him is nonsense, he simply isn't worth any more than 500k IMO, any more and there are far better players out there. Its always been a strange occurance that a missing player seemingly is elevated to godlike status.

Mid Sept and top of league one, still in the league cup but got dumped out of the JPT by Aldershot fielding youth. Signings - Frees Adrianno Basso - Old i know but shuts the assistant up about needing a new GK and is pretty good Jay DeMerit - Quality player, new captain, on about 9k wages though. Anderson Silva - Good solid NPC standard midfielder. Danny Sh*ttu - Quality defender. Olivier Kapo - Good standard attacking midfielder. Bernard Mendy - How did i manage to sign him ?? Pure class. Febian Brandy - Looks like he will be a great little player and has kept an on form Freddie Sears out of the team so far. Surprisingly cheap wages. Diego Tristan - Great great buy this, i was skeptical but he has better attributes then Rickie and is quicker !! Cost only around 3k wages and smashing them in, decent free for a year. Loans Freddie Sears - Started well, got an injury and tailed off though.

I think even without the upheaval champions is always a hell of a task, doesn't matter how good you are. But i agree that auto-promotion should be the real target and anything less will be a relative failure.

I suppose it gets a tad boring in the winchester board room.

I edited his attributes, i think i changed his crossing and pace and passing i think. The pace attribute has changed in the game, but the crossing and passing have stayed the same ??

Any way to get the saints reserve team back into the reserve leagues at the start of the season ? Is it only achievable if you change it through the editor ? If so how ? Also (no offence to your attributes i always change a few things slightly) i changed a few of Ox's attributes in the editor, why do the physical ones show but not technical in the game ??

No at the start of the season we needed one, Chaplow has probably plugged this gap, though i would love to have a new fantastic CM better than Hammond and Chappers if we can get one, but Chappers will do. We also need a striker as Connelly has had it IMO.

I thought we needed another CM to add competition and another forward. With Ox-C coming on the scene at the start of the season i thought we were pretty over-stocked with wide men. We need another forward to have a great squad this year.

Is there a patch out yet ? Or do i have to wait ? What exactly does the patch cover ?

Perhaps, i would not be overly thrilled if we lost him on the cheap, that said when he plays i would rather have someone sit behind him and allow him to be the box to box player. I can see them all playing rather regularly, having 3 decent players for one CM position is no bad thing. Morgan and Hammond have had life far too easy thus far.

I hope not, regardless of some of the posters on here that just don't see it we are a different team when he plays and the boy has a massive future.

Happy with this, very happy. He is beginning to look like he is getting back to form, also adds some much needed competition for the CM places.
