Seager rarely plays for Dutch second division side Telstar (who are 16th in a league that’s poorer then League 2). I don’t think Seager is going to play for us.
-
Ward-Prowse and Elyounoussi back in the bench. Gabbiadini, Hoedt, Davis and Cedric (seen in training photos) miss out. Can we see them moved on in January?
-
I’ve been looking forward all week to this game after our epic win against Arsenal. But have just heard we have to go Christmas shopping this afternoon and will miss the match. Anyone know a good trick how to avoid going in town so I can stay home and watch the match?
-
Cryptic message from Ralph. Think we’ll find out next month who got on and who missed the SFC train.

Zidane will probably go to PSG, best French footballer at the richest French club. If United approach Tuchel they might just get a good price and a very good manager.

Anyone see that sprint from Austin for his goal? Started at the halfway line -

It’s you, Ralph looks like someone who knows there’s a challenge ahead but believes he can sort it. I think we are going to see surprises in the line up Sunday and although we will likely lose, we will see more energy and commitment from the players. This is the first time this season I am excited for a match. COYR

Erwin Koeman, who was temporary in charge at Feberbache after Phillip Cocu’s dismissal, has just left them. Someone I would like to see in our coaching setup. Erwin knows the league and is tactically very strong.

Thank you for the updates from the training ground Pilchards, much appreciated.
-
Cheers LeG, any kind of info from the training ground is much appreciated. Can we say that until LeG, K Billy, Guan or ericb has confirmed this it’s no more then gossip?

Can’t think of a single player I would be sad to see leave.

Great academy players who never made it in the first team

Struggling for game time at 16th places Telstar, a team that would struggle in league 2 and where an average of 2500 people come to watch. Sadly don’t expect Seager to make it at Saints. -

I remember Jake Sinclair was quoted as being the next Walcott, didn’t really happen for him. -
Based on today’s result and performance I think the players can expect a tough day tomorrow from Ralph.
-
That’s the halftime entertainment sorted then.
-
Today Ralph gives his first sessions to the players. What do you think the players can expect? And Pilchards, are you watching from bushes?
-
I think the holiday camp training days are over for the players, round the clock sessions to learn the basics and new playing system awaits for them.
-
Talking of the first training session, I cannot remember who, but can the person who always climbed in to one of the trees around Staplewood and reported on the session do that again? Remember when he reported on Pardew’s first session and that Pardew kept getting angry with the players.
-
Bild is reporting it, they are the German equivalent of The Sun. Not the most reliable of sources..

Do Hughes is staying then..

I disagree with you on this point. If you watch City you see a group of players knowing exactly what they have to do. Sterling has progressed to very good player and even Stones is a decent player nowadays. Yesterday on MOTD they said City haven’t conceded a goal in the second half all season in the league. Watch him coach Sterling, can’t see Hughes coaching the players like that.

Spoke to a Dutch ex pro football this week about Bosz. He said Bosz is a good manager but his problem is he doesnt adapt his teams to the opposition, if its Fulham at home or City away, Bosz will have his players attack and put pressure on the oppositions defence. Ajax a had slow start when Bosz took over, but because of the massive gap between Ajax, PSV and to a certain extend Feyenoord, they were still second once the players understood what Bosz wanted from them. The guy I spoke to said we should go with Jardim, if he wants to come here.

We sacked Adkins after a 2-2 draw against Chelsea and a decent spell of games if I remember rightly, this place went mental at the time.

Romeu is now an improvement on Wanyama
Dr. Kucho replied to Saint Without a Halo's topic in The Saints
talking of Wanyama, big Vic doesn’t get to play many games at Tottenham. Maybe he would like to come back? Schneiderlin doesn’t play many games for Everton either and neither does Clyne at Liverpool. They can’t all have lost their talent and they are all still in their twenties if I am correct. Come on new DoF, get rid of Forster, Hoedt, Austin, Cedric etc and let’s bring the class of 2013 back together
