I disagree with you on this point. If you watch City you see a group of players knowing exactly what they have to do. Sterling has progressed to very good player and even Stones is a decent player nowadays. Yesterday on MOTD they said City haven’t conceded a goal in the second half all season in the league. Watch him coach Sterling, can’t see Hughes coaching the players like that.

Spoke to a Dutch ex pro football this week about Bosz. He said Bosz is a good manager but his problem is he doesnt adapt his teams to the opposition, if its Fulham at home or City away, Bosz will have his players attack and put pressure on the oppositions defence. Ajax a had slow start when Bosz took over, but because of the massive gap between Ajax, PSV and to a certain extend Feyenoord, they were still second once the players understood what Bosz wanted from them. The guy I spoke to said we should go with Jardim, if he wants to come here.

We sacked Adkins after a 2-2 draw against Chelsea and a decent spell of games if I remember rightly, this place went mental at the time.

Romeu is now an improvement on Wanyama
Dr. Kucho replied to Saint Without a Halo's topic in The Saints
talking of Wanyama, big Vic doesn’t get to play many games at Tottenham. Maybe he would like to come back? Schneiderlin doesn’t play many games for Everton either and neither does Clyne at Liverpool. They can’t all have lost their talent and they are all still in their twenties if I am correct. Come on new DoF, get rid of Forster, Hoedt, Austin, Cedric etc and let’s bring the class of 2013 back together -
Do any of the first team players give a d@*n?

If Austin really cared, he would have taken much more care of his body and nutrition. If he goes to a professional strength coach and gets someone to sort his diet out, he could be a good PL striker. -
I would be very pleased if one of those 3 replaced Hughes.

We had a rubbish season last year, but for some reason this one feels much more like the 2004/2005 season.

Are the police seriously locking up people for a bad taste joke? Shouldn’t they be concentrating on the high murder rate etc?

Mundo has us linked to injury prone Barcelona CB Thomas Vermealen. Great defender but very injury prone. Does Vestergaard still have a future with us? What about Bednarek?

I remember hearing that in 2005 when we got relegated. Lowe will leave, deadwood will be cleared, fresh start etc. Fact is if we go down we lose a lot of money, will lose the good players and be stuck with Forster, Hoedt, Long, Austin, Carrillo etc. Best scenario we can hope for is that Gao sacks Wilson, Hughes, Krueger and Reed and puts someone like Mitchell in charge of recruiment and installs a chairman like Cortese to run the club. Relegation will only make things worse. Another idea is to hire a dodgy football agent like Mendes or Raiola to sell the players we dont want and let them have x amount of the price we sell the players for. With all their contacts they should be able to sell some of them and get us a decent return.

Yes to Rodgers, Van Gaal, Hiddink, Howe, Lampard and Benitez. Bosz with Erwin Koeman would also be a good option.

Do you still get info from within the club? If so, any pressure from within the club on Hughes? And what do the players think of him?

Bring back four saints players to save our team.

Can it be 3 players and a manager? If so, Van Dijk Mane Lallana Pochettino -
Dutch football website Voetbalzone.nl had a article today with Pochetinno claiming that due to a lack of summer signings, he has never felt so unhappy at Spurs. He did claim that have started the season stronger then ever. Could this be a ‘come and get me’ message to Perez?

Didn’t one of the reliable ITK members post a while back a cryptic message that something was going on behind the scene regards to Yoshida not playing? And didn’t another, or maybe the same, ITK member say that certain players that had been playing up under Puel and Pellegrino continue to do so? All sounds like something is going on and we don’t have a leader, like Cortese, who doesn’t tolerate this sh!t and sorts it out. (I am not ITK, have never been and all info came from this message board).

Agree with this. Let’s see how the players preform under a decent manager and then decide who should stay and who should go. I do agree that the last few transfers windows have been poor to say at the least.

I am shocked if this is true regarding the warmdowns / cooling downs and Sundays off. I work in sports and have worked with semi professional athletes and it’s basics to have a cooling down after a game and recovery training the day after. It’s those days fitness of the players is checked and recovery is enhanced through stretching, dry needling, massaging, hypervolt etc. If the club are ignoring these things it’s very worrying and injuries will be coming soon.
-
Time to move some/most players on, Hughes too.
-
Probably the reason why the players don’t improve. Poch seemed to be involved with everything when he was here. I am starting to lose confidence in Hughes and hope the club step in soon.
-
And arguably the best of all those signings were the 2 goalkeepers.
-
We should start by bringing in a Director of Sales, someone who is good at sales and could flog the majority of the squad. Then see what we can buy with the cash made.

Peter Bosz. Currently unemployed and likes to play attacking football. Downside to Bosz he is stubborn and won’t be told what to do. Overachieved at Ajax, failed at Dortmund.
