OS says there is the 'Prenton Park Hotel' just outside the ground which doubles as an away pub. Or there is a bar in the away end.
-
There was a bloke selling them after the Wycombe game outside their ground, and they are also for sale on the market near the Bargate.

Good luck to the lad, can only be a good experience for him and he is obviously rated as a 'hot prospect', so getting some game time could prove valuable.

The Back-From-The-Game Thread - Huddersfield Town
RedAndWhite91 replied to notjon's topic in The Saints
I went to the game. It was fantastic. That is all. -
I think Morgan improves with every game. Certainly this season he has really impressed and performed beyond all expectations. I for one had question marks about him last season but now he is one of our stand out players. Nice bloke too. Also agree it's good he isn't grabbing headlines; he's doing a top job for us without attracting interest from bigger clubs.

Met a couple of Huddersfield fans in the pub before the game, and then saw them afterwards too. They were full of praise for us, the way we played, our players, everything. Nice blokes too, I think it's good when you can have a chat to the opposition's fans, and not have them starting on you all the time.

Saints helped me enjoy my birthday a lot more with that.. Before the game I thought we'd draw or edge it by one goal. I could even see us losing to be honest. But that display was a class above and it seems we are finally showing our potential. A team like Huddersfield, who haven't been beaten since something like December 18th was not going to be an easy test, and I'm delighted with the way we played to absolutely demolish a team like them. Great to see/hear all the praise for Pardew as well, he obviously appreciated it. What more can I say, 5-0, ten goals in two games, absolutely ****ing brilliant.

My little brother found it almost incomprehensible that he couldn't go on the PS3 tonight. I told him not to turn it on but I went to work and I bet he did. All hell will break loose if he lost my data!

Cheers for the info Rut, a sort-of-beginner like myself doesn't think of those sorts of things. I see 33/1 on 3 draws and then I see $$$... I guess the bookies almost always win, I'll keep it in mind. Thanks.

I'll probably buy this game when it goes down in price a bit. Or pick it up second hand. All of my attention is focused on April 30th - Red Dead Redemption. Back to Heavy Rain though; it does look very very good.

Can't make their mind up neither; tell you they like you then a couple of weeks later get a boyfriend, errrr ok then, slag.

I'd just like to add that not all teenagers are nightmares... Hope AP resolves his issues, glad it is not football related. Phew!

Ahhh but everyone goes on about the good old days and it just sounds better! Take the Southampton Nostalgia thread for example; brilliant reading. I guess in 25 years or whatever there will be people my age wanting to have lived in the Noughties etc, so it works all the same. I have to keep my wits about me, been started on a few times this season, but that is more to do with morons, and less to do with excitement and mayhem. I guess I'll look back on these times as the golden days when I'm older

I commented on the injury a few posts up there ^... I still stick with my original opinion, match fit he could do a job, but yeah, good point
-
In Ladbrokes I think it is, it has guarenteed odds of 33/1 for 3 draws. So if you stick a fiver on 3 draws and they come in, you're looking at £165, which isn't bad going considering it is only 3 results.
-
Doubt it will be all that much, how many games did you have on?
-
Corrr wish I lived back in the good old days.

Anndddd he's just got injured... Hamstring injury.
-
Haha, great shout. ICDAJFU Nah but on a serious note, Neil Danns would be a terrific signing. He'd rip this League to shreds I reckon. But in all honesty I can't see it happening. I think Hammond and Morgan are doing a sterling job at the moment but I can see the potential need for another CM.

Owen has just scored in the Carling Cup. Good goal, well taken. Past it? I personally don't think so.
