They don't play the best of football, as we all know, but they have some fairly decent players. Walters looked alright yesterday, plenty of running and Shawcross played fairly well too. Stand out player for me is Begovic - cracking keeper

we've had a great season. Some lows, but a lot of highs. Stand out games were Villa, City, Chelsea, Liverpool. And the stand out players were: Boruc, Clyne, Shaw, Yoshida, Puncheon, Morgan Some players however, need to up their game (notably Hooiveld, Lallana and Ramirez) But with some sensible signings we'll be able to move onto the next level. Even yesterday we looked fairly good and if it wasn't for the fact we were up against (in my opinion) the best shot-stopping keeper in the league, we'd have been comfortable winners. I think special praise has to go to Mr Cortese, yet again, a decision has paid off.

Does anyone know if Shaw is fit enough to play today yet? If not, perhaps Clyne at LB and either Cork/Stephens at right back? Would be good to see some youngsters given a go, Perhaps JWP to start and maybe Isgrove/Reeves in the set up

yes, he should have been England's all time top scorer and the PL's top scorer. Yet for the past 8 years has been nothing more than a sicknote with the odd glimpse of what used to be

Had about 4 games in the Northam - last game was Wallsall and the steward helped me over the advertising hoardings at the end of the game pitch invasion. Funniest moment was celebrating Guly's goal v Brizzle Rovers waving my crutches in the air and getting the dirtiest look from the St. John's ambulance woman
