So basically, if Wigan fail to beat arsenal. We're safe
-
Game over. Game on for the relegation battle
-
Wigan will get 6 points, Newcastle, Norwich 3 and us I think we'll struggle to get 1. My reasoning, look at all the "nailed on -must win home games" (Wigan, Norwich, Sunderland, QPR, west brom, Fulham etc)
-
As long as we are above Villa at the start of the Stoke game, we're all but safe
-
Just done the predictor thing on the BBC and we went down. Awkward. The stoke game worries me, it really does
-
I thought he was supposed to be good enough for the premier league? he's nothing more than an average championship player - dead wood to us
-
This whole thread is nothing short of pathetic.

Tottenham 1-0 Southampton // Post-Match Reaction
supersonic replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
It all depends on what Saints team turn up for the last 2 games. If it's the team that played Spurs/City/Liverpool/Chelsea - we'll be fine. If it's the team that played QPR/Wigan/Norwich/WBA we'll be in trouble. -
No he hasn't....he's also the strangest choice of captain I can remember. I took a lot of stick earlier in the season for saying that Puncheon would have a better season than Lallana.

MLT playing for Guernsey tonight at Cobham???????
supersonic replied to captain sensible's topic in The Saints
at the moment its FRI/SAT/SUN/WEDS/FRI/SAT/SUN and it's a strange one promotion - could be 1 or as many as 3 (depending on what leagues have spaces and if club's grounds are up to standard) GFC won't win the league, but they may go up as "best runner-up" and their ground has already been approved for the level above -

I know what you mean, but the team is usually announced the evening before or that morning if it's an evening game. There was no announcement on the team which only heightened the rumors. The payers, look knackered already - no so much physically, but mentally. We'll do well to go up -

Le Tiss came on for the last 8 minutes, bit of a cameo. only touched the ball about 5 times. Surprise result - but much deserved for CWU - better team won. Heard about it 2 days ago and wondered why no team list had been released by GFC -
If we win and Wigan lose to Spurs we'll be 12 points ahead of them and they'll have 4 games left.

To be honest, i'd rather he focused on winning football matches rather thank looking happy. And in terms of interviews, Adkins was the world's worst, you used to come away from listening to him with more questions than you started with

I think 99% of footballers would like to play for Man United. It's like asking a bloke if he'd like to **** beyonce

Swansea 0-0 SAINTS // Post-Match Reaction
supersonic replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
That'll do. 6 unbeaten now. A step towards safety. We're safe. Wigan look p*ss poor. Can't see them getting 6 points between now and the end of the season, let alone 9 (and all other teams over-taking us) -
sunderland 1-0 up
-
Surely a Newcastle win is what we want? I know that'll put them above us in the League, but I'd prefer the 7 point gap to stay as it is, rather than it becoming smaller
-
Rodriguez, woooooahh, Rodriguez, woooooahh, He sounds like he's from Spain But actually he's from Burnley?
-
Let's loan them Tommy Forecast... he get's a game, they get a keeper, and we get a barrel of laughs..... it's what's known as a "win-win" situation
-
What does a football managers political beliefs have to do with anything? MoPo could be a Facist, a Communist, or anything in between - doesn't make a difference at all. The fact the media insist on hounding him is ridiculous, not like he's been appointed local MP
-
The whole banking crisis is her fault. Is it a coincidence that a financial system that was deregulated has imploded on itself, no? Only "positive" that came from her time as PM was the Falklands, and we got lucky with that one!

Mike Dean ref tonight for the Manchester Derby. So far, so good.

Quite ironic really that for the majority of the season I thought we'd have to beat them on the last day to stay up, now it looks like it could be the other way round. Really hope they go, along with Reading and Wigan I really don't like them. hole in the ground place with a team full of rejects and a clueless manager. They make West Ham look like Barcelona
