They are constantly the worst supporters we have year after year. I appreciate it’s not all of them and most are decent, knowledgeable people. But bloody hell their asshole element seem worse than anyone else’s. And why oh why every single bloody year do they smuggle a smoke bomb in? What’s the point?

ok i’ll bite. weve played two games ffs, one against the runners up last year. You know how the league works by now. Teams like us very very rarely beat a top 6 side. That’s not just Saints, it’s 11 or 12 teams in the league. The Burnley result was bad yeah but you can’t surely believe on the evidence of two games we are going down. If after 12 we are bottom then start clucking.

The thing that really annoyed me today and showed only too clearly where we are with Premier League football occured in the warm up where in certain areas of the ground so called Saints fans were stood three deep on the edge of the pitch taking bloody photos and videos of Liverpool warming up and of Klopp stood there watching ! I make no apology for being old fashioned but I go to football to watch my team NOT fawn all over the opposition warming up

Was so hoping the guy near the end who raised the subject of the owner was going to end his sentence with “if he’s not prepared to invest in the club what’s the point of him being here” but he went off on a tangent.

well I was told yesterday when I said the same that unlike Ralph I dont see them in training and how would I know better than him. To not have to watch those centre backs train day after day I consider a blessing because 90 mins a week is more than enough for me.

well five at the back still sees us leak goals so you might as well try four, it cant be any worse and if it frees up JWP from a deep midfield role then all the better.

Had this been away to a top ten side I would agree about the over reaction but Burnley were bloody shocking last season and they have torn us a new one. I would say people have the right to be concerned.

The things that were of concern this time last week or the week before are still a concern. Namely The centre of defence - I’m not a massive fan of Yoshida but surely he has to be part of a three JWP as a deep/holding midfielder - if PEH had been fit to start Romeu would have missed out not JWP. If he plays he must be further up field. No real leadership on the pitch. Reliance on Redmond Ings inability to last 90 mins and his limited contribution Not good, Solent forum might be interesting.
