  1. no I don’t believe they are either
  2. For nearly three seasons now the core of this squad has by and large failed miserably in games like this. All this “cold light of day/24 hrs later” stuff about it not being that bad has been going on match after match in all that time. Bertrand, Stephens, Romeu, PEH, Ward-Prowse, Redmond, Austin, Long - they have all been in and around the starting eleven that have ****ed up home wins that would have eased our plight, but no every single time they bottle it and play like bloody snowflakes. Its not good enough and if somehow we do stay up this promised squad over haul in the summer needs to be major.
  3. Yes how to improve a ****e squad - make it smaller, dont add any players so keep it ****e.
  4. This all day long. Why some people refuse to see this point is beyond me, its basic common sense. We are playing Russian Roulette with our Prem League future....yesterday we took a bullet.
  5. Yes but as you say you didnt go and you are basing your views on less than five minutes of highlights. Redmond for example was a disgrace in the last 15 mins, all he wanted to do was argue with the officials, with his own team mates, with the crowd. Long was bloody awful the whole time he was on the pitch. The only one who emerged with any credit I thought was Valery.
  6. we will never know cos every time it looked like he might get a chance he fell over himself or the ball or just totally failed to control it. If you want to believe Long is a better option than Gabbi would have been then you are delusional
  7. To all the people who: defended the January transfer window posted know it all and condescending posts aimed towards those of us not comfortable seeing Gabbi and Cedric leave only to be replaced by absolutely nobody. To those that insisted streamlining the squad now, in January and in the middle of a relegation scrap was the right thing to do instead of waiting until the summer. To those that just would not grasp that the manager was left with limited choices in a bare bones squad and thought that was fine..... Welcome to reality ! We are bottom three, our next five/six fixtures look very awkward, even if the team play ****e the majority have to be picked the following match. But it’s ok, Ralph is a magician not a football manager and blind faith will see us through cos let’s face it, Cardiff are worse than us right? The Cardiff that have done the double over us. Let that one sink in.
  8. Havent you noticed the squad has been trimmed to the bare bones. One or two injuries and he’s bound to be on the bench. Goes for a fair few for the rest of the season - no matter how bad they will be back next week cos there is no ****er else
  9. Is he still our leading goalscorer ?
  10. its been bought forward, should of been played League Cup Final weekend.
  11. Jamie Carragher was pretty hilarious after the game. Reckoned it wouldn’t be a bad thing if Liverpool fell one or two points behind City. Yeah right **** head, whatever you say
  12. thats better and should be the starting eleven IF Bertrand is fit. As for Long......we’ve got ourselves in that mess unfortunately
  13. You would if been ok with the first one not being given at St Mary’s if that was Redmond taken out by the opponents keeper would you ?
  14. That’s a team of 12....
  15. One of the more blatant ones at that. We dodged a bullet there until 30 seconds from the end.
  16. Some on here think they know it all yet they will be the first to moan at Long, Austin, Valery playing in the two positions we obviously needed to strengthen. Oh wait, we gad a right back didn’t we ? Portuguese international wasn’t it ? Not good enough to even act as cover apparently !!
  17. Squad reduction mate, too obsessed with reducing numbers and therefore options.
  18. I’m hoping Bertrand, PEH and Yoshida are all fit to come back in. I’m not expecting Ings to be fit so presumably Long gets the nod up front.......oh joy
  19. thats for sure
  20. Presumably Yoshida will be back next week in place of that bloody liability Stephens. Have been saying for the past two years he isn’t good enough and would probably make an average holding midfield player. But as for CB - forget it !
  21. yes but it’s ok cos we have a smaller and more manageable squad - just think of all those wages the club is saving
  22. He wasn’t great on Wednesday and we did ok when he was suspended. Interesting that the first choice right back has been dropped and we are making do with JWP out of position or Stephens. Thank god we didn’t sign one eh?
  23. Well I have more faith in Charlie scoring the odd important goal than I do Moi or Gallagher. If it’s 0-0 v Cardiff and Austin is sent on with 15 mins left and scores the only goal of the game all of a sudden he will be a bloody hero to the ones who write him off as crap
  24. you are straw clutching
  25. what happened to all this “we have learned from our mistakes” bull crap we were fed after last season? utter shambles, I cannot believe we have not got anyone in. Still time I guess but any optimism is going as the minutes tick down
