The one thing that makes me wonder if this is as good as a done deal is that during the interview on Friday NA actually mentions having a bid accepted for Jack Cork. It seems an unusual thing to do as the normal reaction is to deflect a question about a specific player with the usual "we dont talk about individuals, we are looking to bring someone into the building" etc etc The only individuals normally mentioned are definite no no's like Sharp and Riise.

Absolutely right. Order something before its out by all means, thats what collectors do, BUT at least you know or you have seen what the bloody thing you are ordering looks like !!

The only decent player the useless ***** actually did sign. I hated, literally hated going to The Dell that last half season he was in charge, it was rubbish, plain and simple. What a nightmare combination Branfoot as manager and Lowe as Chairman would have made. Thank Christ we were spared that. And for anyone who thinks things wouldnt have been different if Hoddle had come back when Lowe for the only time I can remember bottled it, well they must be mad. There is no way we would have been relegated with Hoddle in charge.

Providing he is fit I'm not sure that would be true in Connolly's case. He is proven at this level after all.
