I heard it as though the manager decides who he might want based on the areas that need strengthening, but once he has decided and it has been agreed that player is within budget, at the right age, right wages etc then the manager steps away and NC and his team take over sorting out the deal. Except for anywhere that Redcrapp manages I would be surprised if any club leaves the buying of players purely to the manager.

Quite frankly the ref was a disgrace. Most refs in this league are poor but he is a premiership ref FFS !! I was convinced he would give them something like a dodgy penalty, he did everything else for them after all.
