You're right, and during the period he was at the club, we accumulated the most points out of any team. The reason we didn't win the league was because Adkins WASN'T in charge when we had our dreadful start.
They've already started a thread on POL about who they want in the play-off final, along with talking about how many fans they will bring to take over Wembley, etc etc.
If he had been here at the start of that season we would have won the league.
He took us from the relegation zone of League 1 to within 3 points of Brighton in first place.
Next game is at AFC Wimbledon and it's live on Sky, so the whole country gets to see their bestest fans in glorious HD.
Let's just hope there's no booing
He's a troll who's on the wind up. And a very very bad one. There is an art to trolling and if you get it right, it can be quite funny. There are one or two on here who I find rather amusing but saint lard lacks the intelligence to be a good troll.
I'm 100% sure that Reading and Brighton supporters would prefer to be in their position than ours. 100%. If only we had won those trophies, we could be where Reading and Brighton are now. If only.
You only have to look at clubs like Leeds, Derby and Forest, and many many many many more teams that seem to be stuck in the Championship. It is no mean feat to achieve promotion from that division.
They only mention us when we lose, which these days isn't very often. This thread has longevity because of the subject and the comedy value it regularly provides us. There isn't anything that they can laugh about us, so alas there are no comments.
It's normally at this stage we fade away but we're picking up form at exactly the right time. We need 13 points from our last 7 games to equal our 60 points from last season.
They're rather gracious on RAWK. Say we deserved the win and are fuming with their own team's performance.

If only we had an in-form Mané, who knows where we would be in the table.
We have zero creative attacking midfielders like Mahrez or Coutinho and it's the one area we really must strengthen in the summer.
They've got Plymouth and Wycombe to play in April and end the season against runaway leaders Northampton.
Even so, third place is definitely there for the taking.
