Everton - Southampton Build Up Thread
Pamplemousse replied to Pass the Dutchie's topic in The Saints
Everton fans seem to think Laurent Blanc will leave PSG for them as well Koeman wouldn't leave us for them, Everton is a drop down and I can see an exodus this summer. -
Saints announce partnership with Under Armour

True. This does seem to be far more than just a kit deal. I hadn't realised there was no information on the actual kit. -

Is there really any need for a new thread? -
http://www.buzzfeed.com/lukebailey/south-coast-not-lol The choice for number 11 is rather surprising. I'm amazed they didn't choose the most passionest and bestest stadium in the whole of the footballing world.

Young Player of the year is anyone aged 23 or under at the start of the season so the players who could qualify are Targett, JWP, Mané, Cedric, Gazzaniga, Reed, Romeu, Caulker and Juanmi

Some interesting stats: Out of Everton's total number of points, only 41% of them have come at home, and only Aston Villa have conceded more goals at home than them. Which could be good news as we're one of the lowest scorers away from home. -
Just as long as it's not TY or jobsite.com

I think the game would move to the Saturday evening and the match currently scheduled for the Saturday evening slot (which is Arsenal v Norwich) would move to the Sunday Edit: http://www.premierleague.com/en-gb/news/news/2015-16/feb/260216-live-uk-television-fixtures-for-april-may-released.html 5.30pm Arsenal v Norwich City (Sky Sports) #ARSNOR* *Subject to possible movement dependent upon UEFA Champions League participation of Barclays Premier League clubs the following Tuesday. Sunday, 1 May. 4pm Southampton v Manchester City (Sky Sports) #SOUMCI* *Subject to Man City's possible participation in the UEFA Champions League the following Tuesday.

This won't be an easy match but their fans are getting restless and hopefully we can take advantage of that. What's the betting we win this one but somehow lose to Aston Villa next...? That is the Southampton Way. -
They were celebrating 'David Norris Day' last week, the famous goal that saved them from relegation and stopped us from going up, of course.
-
Their game in hand is against West Ham, which is on the Tuesday before the final weekend of fixtures, so at least one team above us is guaranteed to drop points in that fixture.
-
Come on Stoke as well. 1-1 against the bin dippers currently
-
We need a Tottenham win against Man Utd for starters
-
If we turn up we'll beat Everton but seeing as they beat us 3-0 they might be up for it so you never know. I'll predict a draw. We should beat Villa. Man City at home, a point would be a good result, Spurs away will probably be a defeat and we should beat Palace. I reckon we'll get 8 points from our final 5 games. Good enough, who knows.

ART will be very happy to hear this news, seeing as he 'intensely dislikes' Austin
-
Man City losing at home to West Brom... Top 4 back on?
-
Portsmouth back up to joint top now
-
We're doing your team Norwich a favour
-
We haven't played that well at all but Newcastle are awful. This isn't even Championship standard, they truly are a dreadful team.
-
Apart from the goals he scored against Stoke and Liverpool and the fact that he is our top scorer
-
The Newcastle forums make for depressing reading. The general consensus is that they will get hammered 8-0
-
Everton are a mid-table team and have achieved nothing in the past two seasons. It would be a drop down.
-
Why on earth would he go to Everton? That is a drop down compared to us.
-
Clattenburg is from Tyne and Wear, if you wanted to know. He's a Newcastle supporter, so he never referees their matches, or Sunderland ones.
