It’s understandable really when you see so many news stories about different vaccines having a different efficacy against different variants. Also people want to know in case there’s a sudden outbreak of side effects from a certain vaccine.

And you believe a significant portion of the same cabinet and their medical advisors all suffer from the same mental illness simultaneously?
-
Yes, because they obtain money, women, property, infamy or some other valuable commodity from it. There’s none of that here; if you derive satisfaction from preventing complete strangers going to the pub you have a mental illness.

In what way? What are they getting out of us that they couldn’t dream of with a thriving, open economy?
-
Who are they then? It’s the media pushing these stories, not the politicians. They are the the ones with something to gain from panic inducing scare stories. The people who actually ‘control’ us, if you want to call it that, want the country open ASAP.

Looks like most parameters are consistently dropping by around 1/3 each week, which gives us a few options when we’re that happy hospital numbers are under control. Another promising sign from the stats is that whilst the number of people in hospital is roughly similar to the peak levels from April, the 7 day average for deaths is significantly lower. This would suggest to me that the improvements in treatment (I believe one drug was thought to reduce deaths by 20%) are having a noticeable affect on fatalities.

None of those players would add anything to our squad.

£5m more than we got for Carrillo or Boufal, who both cost the same or greater. I’d take that.
-
Was that true when we were top of the league?
-
Why? We’re equidistant from both after 23 games, why would that change after 38?
-
We’re the same distance behind Liverpool, who are also playing badly. Weirdly, nobody seems to be talking about catching them.

Anyone starting to look nervously at the table?

If there’s one thing I know about form is that it carries on forever and never changes. We’re well on course for 20 consecutive Premier League defeats, I can’t see us staying up. -
We had Adkins because we had an owner with the ambition and investment to take us to the Premier League. Under Gao we'd probably have to sell everything which isn't nailed down if we were relegated.

Not a chance. One trophy for a decade of Wotte/Burley/Poortvleit football.
-
It’s alright, we can cope with being a man down if needed.

Surely the board have to consider sacking Ralph

At least two threads on Ralph already. -
How does Trump always bring out the best in people.

Yep, that completely threw me when it came up with a big green, ‘impact outside’. I thought I’d misunderstood the rules of the game somehow, there was blatantly no shot played. Sadly he wasn’t out three balls later like the one yesterday.
-
That doesn’t mean we have any particular fan base over there. I doubt even our owners watch most of the games.

The fact that it’s just bad for democracy. In the same way that Corbyn basically let the Tories off scot-free at the last election, an insane and unelectable Republican candidate makes the next US election a foregone conclusion.
-
I asked a Spurs mate if we could have Hoj back after that thunderbolt he scored a few weeks ago. He text me again tonight basically saying ‘he’s yours if you still want him.’
-
I think being on loan in League 1 is as good as it’s going to get for him right now. If he isn’t getting a game there then he certainly isn’t going to here, so he hasn’t lost anything.
-
I think he was probably seen as the cheap option so that we wouldn’t have to bring in another forward, before Theo became available. Personally I’d rather have just let him go and had nobody instead. Ignoring Theo, we’ve had nothing from Long that Obafemi or N’Lundulu couldn’t have done.

That would be like giving the UKs first vaccine back in November and, 20 minutes later, asking if there had been a discernible drop in fatalities.
-
Why? He wouldn’t have played here either.
