  1. I've mentioned this before but as this is apparently the official HCDAJFU, Niko Kranjcar. I'd also take Clyne, Tomkins/C.Davies (at least 1 definitely wont get promoted), JRod and Phillips from those listed above.
  2. If we don't make a couple of signings this week, we'll struggle to make the playoffs FFS!
  3. Just watched the best bits on iplayer. What I wouldn't give to have been there, fantastic. The goals The atmosphere The fans The pitch invasion at the end Hearing Amarillo played on the PA Adkins celebrating the goals Chaplow going mental on live TV as Dean Hammond said a naughty The Saints are going up!!! I never cried when we were relegated the first time, or the second. I came close when Markus dies and I'm even closer now watching those scenes. Get in!!! Get in!!!
  4. Nothing against West Ham fans, maybe they have a few cocks, but that always happens with Premier League drop outs in the Championship. We had a few like that ourselves not so long ago. Wont gloat, but I think the Premier League will be a better place without BFS's particular 'brand' of football, even if he did get decent results. Would like Blackpool to win the playoffs.
  5. HCDAJFU etc. In all honnest I'm pretty sure he will go to Chelsea. I can't see them keeping RDM next season, don't forget Avram grant was a hilarious John Terry penalty away from winning the Champs League, it wont be enough to get him the job. Abramovic likes big names with track records and Pep fits the bill. Still think Saggy chops will get the England job. I don't like it but I can't think of anyone the FA would favour more.
  6. Why such a negative bench? None of those players are likely to change a game if we need a goal, I'd want De Ridder in for Harding and Barnard for Connolly, who isn't fit and rarely changes a game.
  7. Rubber Johnny English Inside Men Haws (As in Jaws/Whores. I can't quite get my head around this one yet, sure someone can make it funnier) Haws 2, 3 etc. Jurassic Pork Trouser Snakes on a Plane Very Deep Impact A-pork-her-lips Now King Dong Knobzilla
  8. Connolly hasn't been properly fit for about 5 years, what makes you think that's going to change. As for Connolly coming off the bench... He has scored 5 goals as a substitute in the 3 years he's been here. He's not exactly super sub.

    Porn

Porn is ruining my life. The boiler packed up weeks ago but I'm too scared to call a plumber.
  10. Gordon Bennett, have some of you actually watched Saints before? We don't win crucial games 3-0 or 4-1. We do nervy hangings on, narrow 1 goal leads and injury time nail biting. I think we will win this, but it wont be anywhere near comfortable. I'll go for 2-1 Saints with Wham winning in first gear.

  12. For comfortably mid-table, read 18th 6 points above the drop zone and have played more games than all the teams around us. The real damage was done by Dodd and Gorman, losing 5 out of 6 games before Pearson took over. Appleton seems alright to me, can't really see any realistic options for them who would have done better with those players available. They would do well to hang on to him next year.
  13. They have a point though, Coventry very much are the underdogs. Chelsea had a massive task to go to the Nou Camp and get any kind of result. Coventry at home is about the best fixture we could possibly hope for. For us it's all about not f**king it up. Any comparisons with Saints and Chelsea last night are stretched and pretty much pointless.
  14. He's averaged about 5 goals a season since we signed him. How did you figure that out?
  15. No we don't. Connolly is a pretty average League 1 striker at this stage in his career. Even when he was fit, I saw him go missing in a lot of games and put in some pretty poor performances. Ask yourself this. When has Connolly scored in a game when Saints were struggling? I can't remember any other than a meaningless trip to Gillingham 2 years ago. When we play fantastically he is a good player. Anything less and he goes missing. His goal record is poor. He has no pace, he has no physically presence. He really isn't that good. Would be my 6th choice striker if everyone was fit, behind Guly and Barnard. Our problems recently have been down to poor concentration, marking and some silly silly mistakes.
  16. Think I might stick £20 each on Cov/Wham win at 16.5 and Draw/Wham win at 7.6 That way if Saints fail I get at least £100 out of it. There are some good odds on high scores for Wham. 10/1 on a 3-0 win and about 20/1 on a 4-1 or a 4-0. Given that Wham will come out all guns blaxing to try and overhaul our GD, I'd say a fiver each on a few high scores was well worth a flutter.
  17. http://sports.williamhill.com/bet/en-gb/betting/e/2897431/.html A few West Ham scores: 3-0 = 10/1 4-0 = 20/1 4-1 = 22/1 5-0 = 50/1 They know their best hope is that Coventry hold us to a draw and they stick a cricket score past Hull. Well worth a tenner on each of those I think.
  18. I should have bet on tonight, the odds were probably much better and we all knew deep down it would come to this.
  19. I'm never bet on sports in my life, but had a quick check on Odds checker and West Ham are at 8/13 to beat Hull. I know that's not great, but as Saints fans we know it's as good as free money. An accumulator with Wham winning and Saints drawing is 7.65 The same with Coventry winning would be 16.5 I'm now trying to decide how much money I'm willing to chuck away should Saints get promoted. Anyone else having a similar dilema or am I just Gregos Traitorelli?
  20. Nobody within 5 yards of Vaz Te for that one FFS.
  21. Sh*te defending for all of that. Why do West Ham seem to have 2 on 1 down the left every time. Taylor is unmarked half the time.
  22. Whatever the opposite of jynxing someone is, you just did it.
  23. 10 months ago I'd have had this down as the match that would decide the title. Not expecting Leicester to get anything. Luckily I'm playing 5 a side at 9pm so I'll have a welcome distraction from the second half at the Walkers.
  24. People come out with this bullsh*t every St George's Day, but I've never met, spoken to or even heard of anyone who is actually offended by St George's Day or 'being English'. Every year people come out with the "oooh we can't celebrate being English, we will upset some monorities," line, it's just nonesense. The only people who might be offended are a couple of angry Jock nutjobs in Glasgow and a couple of fundamentalist Islam nutjobs in Luton. That's about it.
