I definitely think it has helped the team. Our horrid home record had created an atmosphere which wasn't particularly conducive to the team playing freely. Hopefully the good results will have changed that whenever fans do finally get back in.

Very impressive. Only really gave them that one chance all game, whereas we caused them huge problems. And that was without 2 key starters. curious how Walcott didn’t get a penalty.

Good performance. Lead feels a bit insecure though. Left side an obvious weakness, djenepo seems a bit cautious at times, wonder if it’s under instruction with the makeshift leftback. real shame Walcott couldn’t bury that chance to make it 2 nil

Pretty sure of late st maximin has been playing in more of a free role.

Don't think we should move JWP out of CM. I'd be tempted to go Stephens at right back and KWP at left back if neither Vokins/Bertrand is available.

Yeah from description i'm hoping it was more a case of being cautious and he'll be ok for Friday.

Looked to me that diallo pulled his leg out of the challenge but I assume there must have been some sort of contact even if it was minimal.

I'm more worried about Ings. Vokins hasn't done much wrong in his couple of opportunities, clearly a downgrade on Bertie but anyone would be.

Think we should always have a fullback (Vokins) on the bench. Didn't need all four of (djenepo,long, n'lundulu,redmond). JWP has got very important to our midfield & shifting him to left back didn't help us at all.

And left us with 9 or 10 men due to injuries!

Not great 2nd half apart from ings wonder strike. Got the result, glad that 3nd went in, in the 97 minute when the game was over. Worrying on the injury front, especially danny. Thought all 3 replacements played rather poorly.

Strange to be 3 nil up having not played that well. Just utterly clinical. Scored preety much every time we shot. Not sure the free kick in the lead up to the vest goal was one but will take it. 2 gorgeous free kicks by JWp, was sure the 2nd was too close. I think Cash should be considered last man. The rule is silly if you can be last man horizontally like that and deliberately stop a one on one with the keeper like that.

Interested to see which side Walcott starts. You'd think up against Targett might make more sense with Armstrong shifting across.

Should stay 3 subs. The big clubs have mega money and should be able to rotate. Just heard Chelsea have used something like 23 players this season in Prem.

Be good to have Theo as an impact sub replacement for Armstrong. Could see him having big effect against tired targett legs if game is still tight.

Found it hilarious our coaching staff were still showing stuff to long on the iPads when they were preparing to bring him on in the 2nd minute of injury time. Then the ball didn’t go out of play anyway.

Very happy with that. Great team performance. Didn’t understand the pre game talk seeming to trying to turn them into a city or a Liverpool type game in terms of challenge.They are still everton with lots of ordinary players and a missing a couple too.

They are still in the league cup aren’t they, which may give him one game. Better than being namedropped as the 9-0 keeper forever.

The other shoe dropping, in regards those suggestions of scrapping league cup/cutting league size. Hopefully other clubs will do all possible to resist enabling this sort of monstrosity.
