I do sometimes feel boufal wants an 3xtra touch ( moments like where he was hacked down but Bertrand was frustrated because he wanted first time release). Some fantastic play today though too and some of 5he stuff he gets criticized for Redmond does too.

The positives If you are going to give away a comedy goal do it when you have lost and injury time is up. Romeu & hojberg absolutely d9minated them. Boufal scared them. Bertrand looked good. The bad Vestergaard Our shooting Our strikers Redmond brought back early and injured The really bad danso Gunn for Wilson goal The awful Ralph. Fortunately he’s got a little credit in the bank as that was worse than our hopeless previous couple of managers in terms of set up. Made even worse when he sorted it at ht and we bossed large parts of the 2nd half For me that was most important game of 3 coming up, a chance to set up a good season where we finish above them. Better win the less important cup game against a poor league one side then as I don’t see us getting anything against spurs.

Several times at the end of the half he struggled to pass to a team mate 2 feet away. Looked worse than vestergaard even in his natural position. If he’s our center back savior he’s hiding it well.

Why does the useless danso get to stay on.

Sad thing is Bournemouth look there for the taking if Ralph had of bothered to play an actual proper Defence.

If you are talking about danso he’s playing Centre back and looking poor, which is I suppose an improvement from embarrassing at right back.

On game evidence danso is an appalling fullback. How he walks into the team is a mystery

You've got to assume it's highly likely Bertrand will be off in January if Ralph would prefer to handicap his side rather than play him. Equally its curious to see Valery can't even make the bench now. Is he injured or has he done something to displease ralph Personally i think its wrong that Yoshida who was excellent at the weekend gets dropped and Vestergaard who was less impressive gets retained.

Would like to see Yoshi stay in. Hopefully we shift to a back 4 again. and hopefully whatever is wrong with Bertrand is over and he comes back in.

I prefer the current approach of uk window to shut before the season starts. At least it minimizes domestic destabilizing. Ideally Europe would match or move closer but its not crucial imo. Saints getting themselves in a bind with so much trash most aren’t 8nterested in till last minute is our own fault.
