Second half everton adapted to play like an away side against us but I still think we shaded the half. Could have done with boufal or djenepo. Don't get the point of referees and VAR. the bednarek thing is either a red or good tackle, nothing in between, Bednarek gets the ball but gets booked and they get a free kick. Var looks and decides even though he got the ball all that means is that its not a red card offence. That's garbage, lucky they didn't score from the dangerous free kick position.

Frustrating after playing so well to be 1-1. Been very enjoyable watching us slice them apart though. Ings amazing again. felt they always felt a threat going forward with richarlison, very poor defending by bednarek to make it easy for him though.

A few years ago I think most would of scoffed at notion of JWP as the hard tackling engine room of the midfield. He seems to have the right work ethic which has given him the chance to emerge as a real force in that position. With the Euros delayed he must have a real shot of making the England squad if he keeps this level up into next season.

Don't get the Wilson fascination. He's looks a fairly limited player who is good at set pieces(something he wouldn't get to take at Saints)

Another class performance from Stephens. A player who looked so talented but it seemed wasn't going to channel it into consistent 90 minute displays but this season has blossomed. Immense effort by the players and great opportunism by adams. That's certainly one way to get off the mark at a new club. Slightly surprised we didn't freshen the midfield up with Djenepo at some point.

Amusing seeing spurs getting hammered

At times Adams has looked pretty terrible but then there are other moments like sunday when you think there's a player there. Obafemi, equally is still erratic. His pace is a fantastic asset and has scored a couple of goals. So the boring answer at this point would be both. Neither has done enough to be third choice automatic pick.

So forster must be going back on loan there too.

Wonder when Le Tiss is next scheduled to be on Sky. Interesting to see what he wears. Should stick a kick it out badge on instead.
