  1. New rule is a joke.
  2. Interesting that hojberg is on bench and that Stephens is preferred to yoshi.
  3. Pretty happy especially if Danso is in. Still some deadwood to shift to Europe to make it an even more perfect week
  4. Does this mean lemina is now to be rehabilitated or slattery pushed further up pecking order. Shame we weren’t able to sell for a fee if we didn’t want to keep him.
  5. So we didn’t sign vestergaard last summer. Good to know.
  6. Maybe a loan in Jan. Carrillo shows you by and large what’s available in Jan imo, poor players who’s value is doubled because it’s Jan.
  7. You could equally say the boring boring casual spenders moan that saints don’t do more transfer business. Happens every window without fail.
  8. Agree glaring issues with pace and goals seem to have been addressed. If we have to wait longer to address other problem areas that’s understandable.
  9. Can see the logic of this. Effectively a half year loan where hopefully he’ll be playing week in week out at a high level rather than getting cameos with saints. The fact he’s been given a year’s extension too clearly means this isn’t simply with the aim to move him on.
  10. Gunn Valery Vestergaard Yoshida Bertrand Romeu Hojberg Jwp Redmond Adams Ings Subs McCarthy Bednarek Cedric Reed Boufal djenepo Long
  11. When chambers came through as alternative to clyne did we only have one recognized right back.
  12. Pretty content with the window in terms of signings. Just hope we can move some of the dross out before the window closes
  13. Stephens is easily championship level. He could do a Mings if gets the right move and applies himself. Jwp is an England international, hardly a make do player. Shaw is a guy who has wasted his talent so Far. Watching him getting embarrassed by Huddersfield and others last season was funny.
  14. No hesketh.
  15. Ins: no one Out; lemina, Carrillo, hesketh
  16. But they haven't got better by and large. They are largely the same standard.
  17. What's the point you are making, that they all have some equally average centre backs as there's very few worldies in there.
  18. His behavior with 2 previous managers left something to be desired. That said i’d Happily see him offered a another chance.
  19. I saw seri early against Burnley and he was fantastic, though clearly that wasn’t always the case.
  20. Like when we had a left back with half a season and an untried right back in (Shaw and chambers) One right back(clyne) and an unwanted left back(Fox)
  21. Wonder if reed is going to be a beneficiary of the whole lemina situation.
  22. Certainly shown enough promise to be given some more opportunities this season. Dependent on how well he does would surely decide his future beyond that. Assume we'll move one of Elyounessi/Boufal on.
  23. Can't say i'm all that excited by the sort of rumour that is prefaced around the notion of someone prizing away their current rightback beforehand first.
  24. I'm somewhat hopeful that better levels of fitness from pre-season will help improve in that regard, in the worst case scenario where we have to work with what we've got.
  25. Is Hesketh not another one of the 34?
