Feel almost like we lacked belief. Played really well till we actually took the lead and then let spurs off the hook rather meekly. Very annoying long trek home when looked like being a fab trip home based on much of the display.

Curious why spurs pitch has such a sharp incline at the sides.

Boufal deserves a shot after his goal to get us the replay. Pity valery isn't considered ready.

Did very well for u23's as they got promoted, now's done well out on loan. Surely he should at least get a shot at a squad role next season.

Personally I think it’s more a case of the continual attempts by refs to punish players for trying to stay on their feet and instead reward diving.

And robertson’s Backpass was a backpass picked up on the goal line.

Liverpool very well might have gone on to win but it’s galling when the ref bottles such a huge decision at nil nil. Proud of the way the team played. Hope they can carry it on into cup replay.

Great first half by Saints. Liverpool came out and played much better 2nd half butttttt Penalty 2nd half is a huge match changer. Ings gets caught, seems to get punished for attempting to stay on his feet. Often i see refs side but today Friend seemed desperate to not step on liverpool's run. How wasn't robertson's backpass a backpass. Also shows the problems with var it will check a penalty situation but not a free kick on the goalline.

Always liked him as a player. Been a good servant and its a pity it's so last minute that he didn't get a send off at St Mary's. However given he wasn't likely to play and we've got 5 centre backs it makes complete sense to shift one out now that we don't play 5 at the back.

Hasn't Ralph always been clear he wants a squad of around 20, which is what we'll have.

We don't need 5 centre backs, so I assume it was a decision between him or Danso leaving. Do like him as a player but yeah leicester seemed to be the end of the road for him with Ralph.

Does that mean Danso is staying?

Interesting to see how he does there. There seems to have been a spate of 5hem going out, is it a change in development tactics or giving up on this season’s u23 campaign.
