I'd love it to be true but if this was really iminent would he be in the team at cambridge.
-
Odd that Walcott has gone from bench to absent. No redmond or Stephens, hopefully deals are imminent for them. Didn't expect to see Adams start.
-
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Ukraine had something to do with it. It would fit in with the much more aggressive approach they are now pursuing. The west hasn't shown much interest in setting boundaries.

See Regulon is being linked with a loan to Forest. If there's any truth to it, wonder if we would have enquired to given our defiency at FB.
-
Martinez looked better but you do wonder how much that was down to Liverpool not having the more physical Nunez. Hopefully saints wrap adams in cotton wool and get him to bully Martinez.
-
Whats the current situation with Redmond given his absence from last 2 games? Is he injured? Now below Walcott in the pecking order?

Watching the MOTD highlights of City vs Newcastle game left me with impression of biased reffing. Offside flag (where Almiron was miles onside, thankfully overturned by var), no penalty(when stones clattered into Schar), initial red card for a trippier trip (which was thankfully overturned by var)

They have spent the least of the promoted sides and the business they have done seems weak to me. They beat a poor Villa on opening day but didn't turn up in either of their admittedly tough games therafter. Maybe they surprise me but looks to me like a team that's preparing for the drop rather than Fulham/Forest who are doing everything to establish themselves.

Sorry don't agree with that. Much rather see Lyanco play over him. In a toss up with Stephens, Stephens at least offers some versatility at 4th choice. So yeah you can pretty much say he may be better than a failed RB who we are trying to convert into a CB. Get rid asap.
-
Really seems to have applied himself this summer and is doing a very solid job filling in. Be interesting to see if he'll be offered a contract extension or if he'll maintain a role elsewhere in the team once Perraud is fit.
-
Yeah been saying for a while i don't see the pressing need for a CB this window. We need to shed one (hopefully the useless bednarek , cmon villa you know you want to buy him) to just get down to last season's level. Striker is the definite area we need another body. I'd love a new 10 with real pace too(though i'm guessing we'd need to shift numbers from there too)

Ideal game for lots of rotation with view to keeping first xi fresh for man u. Hopefully we see a couple of good u23's getting minutes too.
-
I'll be furious if he carries on with the 5 at the back garbage.
-
The idea of spending £20m on a third choice midfielder feels strange but maybe the club see it as investing in the future.
-
Is he the one that was at everton briefly?
-
Don't really get why Cuco is in red, he was excellent value for money. Also don't really see feel Lyanco should be red.
-
Delap to stoke makes sense(he'll get game time he needs). I didn't really see why we would have any interest in a loan anyway.
-
I don't see the point of delap loan. We've already got our own developmental striker. Surely we'll want somebody with at least some first team experience. Hudson-odoi, is slightly different. Short term high quality. Concern would be how high a loan fee might be.
-
Would have thought he could commute from London rather than move to soton. (Thought we had players do that before?)
-
Historically there's tended to be a view it's harder to get players to go there compared to London/ Manchester etc.
-
No one wants to live in Newcastle surely. Stay in the UK computable distance, better guarantee of playing time? Probably a long shot but is the sort of improvement at 10 we need.
-
Hopefully they can negotiate some sort of loan with obligation(If they get promoted etc)
-
Unless he's unhappy i don't really see any logic to getting rid of Romeu this season. Not going to raise much money and he's valuable quality depth to midfield.
-
An England also ran. Probably feeling the need to get attention given she didn't play in the final.
