Very frustrating loss. We should have had a penalty. Var is a joke. I do wonder if Saints missed a trick by not appealing more and romeu should have rolled around on the floor. Compare our reaction to the wolves player reaction for the bednarek one. That was an absolute corker of a free kick by Prowsey.

I think bednarek brushes the ball in his first challenge but since he doesn't clear the ball his second challenge where he doesn't get the ball is why its given as a pen. Agree that it's the sort of decision that sometimes won't be given consistently.

Very even before the goal. The goal itself was frustrating. Tella trying to play from the edge of the area rather than clearing it and allowing us to reset. Then a bit of bad luck where Bednarek gets a touch of the ball then with his second movement catches the man. Once i saw the replay i was pretty sure it was going to be a penalty. Then we had our best spell but Salisu couldn't quite direct his header and tella got under a very good chance. Still feel we've got a decent chance but equally could be picked off on the break. I'd like to get adams on for redmond as i feel Broja's been isolated too much.

First lunge is partially due to forster’s abominable kick. 2nd is stupid but unless there was foot contact I missed, it was the barest of shoulder taps. valery has looked ok in a back 3 this season and in the past at wing back. So don’t think he should be out of chances completely.

Curious who will play rb on Tuesday. I definitely don’t want to see Valery in a back 4 again.

JUst appalling from Saints. Have the ball in their half and instead of trying to go forward shovel it back to forster to give them the ball straight back. From that possession they end up scoring

Saints have been very poor in the second half. I know we have a man less but little composure shown when we have the ball.

Usually there's at least some logic when they get the shape/positions completely wrong.

That is absolutely fabulous by Cambridge. Maybe we should have a look at that Cambridge keeper some of his saves were quality.
