Well glad that has been cleared up. Sadly our best players are always going to be subject to rumours each window. If it unsettles us (just look at this thread!) then it must be really unsettling for the player(s).

Selling Mane this window would be totally insane hence I don't believe it. He is by far our best attacker and probably best player. Koeman is usually pretty quick to rubbish any newspaper talk and based on the Fonte story would presume this is absolute horse sh!t.

Poor set up first half and the worst organisation defensively I've seen of us under Koeman. Full backs exposed time after time. Yoshida was very poor and Targett had a nightmare. Radical was also woeful first half. Need the new CB asap and Bertrand back fit. Positives are that Romeou (spelling!) was brilliant, deserves to start next week. Pelle was very mobile and Mane played well.

Because Harrison Reed is 6.7ft. We've barely seen him play and most players would have suffered a knock with the accidental challenge on him yesterday.

Harding was a huge player in our recent success.

I don't get the Caulker worries. He had one or two shaky moments but overall did well I thought. That block in the second half was brilliant. He will improve. I think we all know another CB will be signed and he will be a rotation player.

We won that whole tie in 3rd gear which is pleasing. Pretty dull game but great result. Steklenburg looks very assured and I thought Caulker grew into the game well. Midfield was disappointing but at 4-0 up for most of the tie won't worry too much.
