I think Yoshida has excelled under Koeman and was brilliant against Hull. I remember West Ham at home and he won virtually every header against Carroll. Think he is more physical than people give him credit for.

Hard to argue with this + GK. Would to see us assert our position as the best club outside of the traditional top 6 and sign some players from the PL teams below us. Certainly for a new forward. Austin and Ings or maybe both? Would love the club to put a bid in for Benteke but can't see that happening. Maybe a bid for Cisse or Mame Diouf. Certainly need a more mobile forward with the style we play under Koeman Personally think we need two new forwards unless Rodriguez stays.

JWP is a very promising young player. Next season will be a big test for him to push on. Reckon when he gets his first goal he'll suddenly start scoring more. He was incredibly unlucky with that great save from Howard yesterday. He is only 20. In general the goal input from our midfield the second half of the season has been poor.

His role in the starting line up is a bit muddled. Does he play advanced or sit deep? When that role is clear he will blossom. Has all the right attributes to be a good player for us. Would love him to get a goal, would give him more confidence in his shooting. It was always going to be to impact a game where Chelsea were in our final third for the last 30 minutes. I do feel his set piece taking has been lacking of late.

Adkins is a Saints legend. Wish him all the best and nice to see he doesn't hold any grudges against us. Two promotions in a row few if any managers can have on their CV.

Shame, was hoping he'd be in charge for our visit. Saw their starting line up against Villa which was frankly dreadful. They seem to be a very sour team and one I'm not sure will have a flurry of decent applicants.

How he didn't send of Matic was pathetic. But he did well with the Costa pen about and Mane penalty so evened it slightly.

Mane was untouchable at times. Brilliant point and hopefully can kick start a late push for top 4 as our opponents all play each other over the next 5-6 games. Forster somewhat made up for his error too.

Agreed but that was pretty horrific for Chelsea. They are there for the taking. Definitely not the same team of the start of the season. A perfect underdogs game if we play our cards right. We've had two weeks preparation and a nice trip to Switzerland and they've just had a footballing nightmare in 120 minutes.
