Haha I called Kelvin! Can't believe he is best mates with fox considering the lack of cover gives him Down the left
-
I think he'll go for kelvin in goal, after everything he has given to the club and turning down west ham etc, he is certainly one of our stallwarts. Think we should do a competition to see who can predict his team. GK - Kelvin Defence - Shaw, clyne, Jaidi, Fonte Midfield - Morgan, Cork, JayRod, Bale, Walcot Forward - Lambert Rose tinted classes off.

LoL, OBVIOUSLY.. Do you have eyes?

On The FantasyFC... (Watch The Fantasy Football Club, 6.30pm and 10pm, Friday, Sky Sports 1.) Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana picks his #One2Eleven, while Benito Carbone is in the studio. Southampton and England midfielder Adam Lallana will pick his #One2Eleven on Friday night's The Fantasy Football Club. The 25-year-old, who's scored five goals for his club this season, is regarded as one of the rising stars of the game and won his first senior international cap for England in a friendly against Chile last November. Now, the attacking midfielder will have his sights firmly set on retaining his place in the squad for this summer's World Cup in Brazil. But who are the best 'ballers he's played with during his Southampton career? Surely Real Madrid's record-signing Gareth Bale will get the nod, but will current team-mates Rickie Lambert and Jay Rodriguez make the cut? Or will Lallana go for former Saints such as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain? You can find out on this week's show and there's also all this lot to look forward to... We'll see former Sheffield Wednesday, Aston Villa and Bradford striker Benito Carbone enter the studio for a chat with Fenners and Merse. Benito, who played for 17 clubs during his career, including Napoli, Inter Milan, Derby and Sydney FC will share memories of his time in England and could reflect on his days at Hillsborough with charismatic countryman Paolo Di Canio. Plus, League Two promotion hopefuls Chesterfield will test their mettle in our Two-Footed Corner Challenge. For those of you unfamiliar with the shows format, lallana will likely have the dubious pleasure of being interviewed by Merson whilst also picking out his fantasy 11 based on all the players he has ever played with. Enjoy!

I'd have our Nige back in a heartbeat, he's been shat on by Readings illusive owner who once again offered no funds (First with McD in the prem) and has ruled himself out of the West Brom job despite it being perfect for him. He has allready agreed to take over in June/July.... We all know NC lines up replacements in advance after all!
-
Newcastle and crystal palace should do far far better than predicted here, but an interesting share so thank you.
-
This! Fonte's was crucial, but league 1 promotion is nothing compared to getting back into the premier league. It was funny that we stopped brightons unbeaten home record in their final season there though
-
Biggest 2 goals of the championship season were scored by big Jos vs west ham.... People who think that the lambert vs leeds goal was the biggest goal need their brains testing guys! Jos got us 4 points off west ham, not 4 points to west ham - thats an 8 point swing... no promotion...

£80m of talent, which is enough to buy our entire 18man match squad... no shame in defeat to be honest. Played well for long periods and passed rings around chelsea at times. Chambers is looking better than shaw based on recent games. Made cole look stupid at times today. Team will only get better, but its some tough candy floos to chew on for the last few weeks. Perfect storm with these injuries and tough matches. We rolled over cardiff when we played them though, so we are better than the "rest" and only narrowly off the teams chasing europe (based on recent matches) and that is with half the team out. Remember than fact! Keeps you sane on our otherwise poor form!

People are aware that a firing Ramirez and osvaldo puts us 1 player away from an absolutely quality first 11right? Gk- boruc FB - Shaw clyne chambers CB - Fonte lovren astori (the currently missing player) CDM - spiderman cork wanyama CAM - Ramirez JWP Davis Lallana jayrod CF - Lambert osvaldo

Posting post match thread b4 final whistle, what a joker you are, or does being the one to post it mean that much to you? The wrong team lost. Oh well we are young and will keep getting better, Everton will lose and can't replace lukaku and have no money. We will be better than them soon enough. Gaston did well yet again. Mots of highly stupid cards that we picket up but was good enough for a pen at the end for me. Also lallana had a run a few minutes before that where he is pulled down from behind by barkley on the edge of the box, utterly missed on my stream and Everton got a freekick soon after. Mind you, we shouldn't moan about decisions for our ability not to win. Poor poor defending for second goal and another from a break down chambers side.

That "app" has one vote giving it 5/5 so not very well known. In like my bank details, passwords etc kept private so until it gets a couple of hundred recommendations I won't be installing it. Just use wiziwig ffs, on a phone or tablet its practically the same as HD if you use the right stream. And u must no someone with a sky or BT login you can borrow?

It would finnaly shut upnallnthe people who want to bum him when they realise that in a challenging tough physical league, Ronald ajdnmaybe bale are better than him lol... The man knows this, so if he leaves Spain it won't be for the premier... He has a reputation to maintain.
-
lol, like when arsenal trampled on him for a league one teenager with 6months first team football, how much are they paying us again? when he is fit again? trololol
-
That should read, good luck with severn bridge... I'm sure there is a roger bridge somewhere, but not on your route to Cardiff
-
I'd personally park at bristol parkway and catch the train, quicker and easier but would have relied on you buying tickets for the train in advance to be cost effective.. good luck with roger bridge. Whether in Bristol is ****, amazed if bridge is open

This isn't saints related is it... Since it excludes saints players. I clicked on the linke thinking it would be top 5 saints players so far.

Woah, whats up with the forum tonight. We have massive injury issues and a young squad. This particularly affects us at the back when you have to play gazza, chambers, fox and jos its basically an untested back line, what do people expect against £100m plust worth of talent who are trying to make a point? seriosuly. Threads about players being unfit to wear the shirt, player bashing left right and centre.... did we all turn in to skates this afternoon, we are better than this surely? What happened to the days of going a goal down and immediately cheering on the team? I don't even see this as a concerning run tbh, we matched arsenal, outplayed chelsea for 65min, totally outplayed city for 75min (the only game they have dropped points in recently) and drawn with newcastle away (another top team on form!)... It is a young squad with a lot of injuries... On paper our first 11 is good enough to challenege for europe.... but we this injury crisis combined with playing the top teams in the league was a perfect storm for us.... I'm actually enjoying watching the kids do well... Especially the city game where they came back, showed their metal and actually outplayed the champions in waiting. Chambers looks a great player for me, we all can see shaw is quality, JWP has a good future for sure and now Gallagher looks promising along with reed etc. Plus I always love watching Lallana play and have done since league 1. Rome was not built in a day... we will not win every game, and when we are not how about people get behind the team on here instead of slamming them and the club. We can't build a top squad in 1 full season in the top flight so for the time being, enjoy the climb and enjoy watching the kids develop.... I love watching our british saints (with a hint of foreign quality) strutting their stuff. Something of the babes in the making about them. On a side note, I literally think Lovren is the best CB in the prem at times. Graceful on the ball, good marker, passes well.... does he know how to miss a tackle under pressure? Love watching him play! Who'd have thought we'd have a player like him when we were bottom of league 1 and pardew got sacked! Get a grip people, we weren't going to win the league this season! Stop acting like our second string should beat spurs with a point to prove! Chrsit!
-
For starting this thread, you sir.... are scum. Fox and Jos have come up with this club from the championship, winning us promotion and playing vital roles in getting us back into the prem (not least Jos scoring against west ham!)... They then gave there all last season when we were having a tough time, and this year they are ready to make the effort when called upon.... Fox in fact did a great run and pass to set up lallana. They may not be good enough for where we want to be.... but to come up with crap like "they are not fit to wear the shirt".... christ. You literally disgust me. As for Gazza, he is young and learning.... Nice to know that we are slamming twenty year old keepers for giving their best for the team. He was against a side that cost in excess of £100m today, he has less than 20 top flight games and 1 season of league 2 football... But he is deemed to be "unfit to wear the shirt".... you are an utter disgrace.

Will enjoy revisiting this one on 31st January
-
It would not mean more scope for expansion because standing seats are worth jack all to the club. They would have at least the same income from the standing areas as they would from seated area that was there before it. All you may achieve is to get a few thousand more in the ground... eating into what an expansion could deliver. So far less likely to get an expansion.

I know what you mean, but thinking about it, I also think it is his? He kicks it first, and then defenders foot carries it over the line (i.e. deflection of on target shot). Either way, it was so messy that it doesn't really matter. The point is, the ref + lino had no way of seeing it, but hawakeye told them, no fuss, in about a second. Its fantastic. Just like that, there will never be a discussion over whether it was a goal, ever again! Problem solved. Now make it work for offsides and we are pretty much there, bar diving.
-
There have been numerous decisions that don't need to be made because of the tech. Also last night Lampard's Chelsea goal was given because of hawkeye in the league cup. It seems madness that we never used it before. So simple, and completely removes any contentious decision making regarding goals. Hopefully it will get brought in for offside next.

Barnes wasn't it? Against Liverpool. This is the worst kick I have seen for sure. That or Boruc's attempts vs the Arse this season.
