God no, he's so overrated.

To me that looks a good run.

The FL League rules are here: http://www.football-league.co.uk/regulations/20110629/section-3-the-league_2293633_2125717 under Section 12.3 Sporting Sanctions. I can't be arsed to look through them properly, but in skimming them I couldn't find any mention of a 2 strikes in three years and your out rule.

I think the get out clause will be this. When Southampton were docked points because of the parent company's administration this was justified on the basis that the parent company was, basically, just SFC. Pompey's parent company is a real parent company with a number of commercial interests, therefore, there administration won't count and, therefore, they won't be kicked out.

I don't suppose there will be one but, if anybody does stumble across one, I'd be grateful

"I've had a little look at the run we've got coming up, and obviously we want to win every game, but we're all definitely confident going into this game of getting three points." Rickie Lambert Sounds like complacency creeping in to me.

Obviously it's a coincidence

I'm not sure we'd even have to change our tactics much. Guly can do a lot of the things Ricky can in terms of holding the ball up, making a nuisance of himself and getting on the of crosses.

Given the rate of inflation the value of the principal is falling not increasing, so no, you can't pay anyone's wages using the interest - at least not without further eroding the value of the principal.

Er... no

Yeah, I mean bankers never f**k up do they... Jesus

Depends who's doing the investing doesn't it? If you're too big to fail you can just get the taxpayer to foot the bill and have another spin of the roulette wheel.
-
How do you know it won't be used to cover the previous season's excess? Even if it isn't, in the current climate it will earn less than inflation thanks to the BofE screwing savers to save the arses of feckless buy to let scum and other "investors".

That it's Connolly and Harding

Fair enough, but we have spent most of that time higher up than them in the league so you'd sort of expect us to average better attendances. I've always thought of us as a bigger club than Portsmouth, and I don't know how anyone in their right mind could question that, but I'd say we're about on a level with Brighton at the moment. Similar support, new stadiums, good owners, moving up the leagues - perhaps we're a nose in front but no more.

I thought there were some fair points in there, like this bloke: "The dell held 30,000 in its day and yet before St Marys, Saints had just one 30,000 crowd, Brighton, palace and pompey numerous. Brighton had bigger gates in the 70s and 80s because they had more punters through the turnstile, not because saints couldnt get them in, saints could, they just didnt, despite being in a higher division than us. When Brighton and palace were getting 25000/30000 crowds, saints were getting about 17000 and were a plucky underdog. Saints have come a long way since mind you but still only rarely get a 30K crowd and knock about between 20,000 to 25,000. This a long way from a west ham, which is a step up from the Brighton's, palace's, pompey's and saints of this world."

It would be depressing - another nail in the coffin of popular community sport.

It's b0ll0x, we're not reliant on them. How many goals and assists has Guly chipped in with in the last few games? He's our best performing forward currently.

Proof that we don't need to fill SMS to expand...

That's not proof - they have to actually make money on it first for it to prove anything. -
There should be a reality show experiment that answers these questions.
