Before he was third in line for a central midfield berth. Now he's fourth in line. We signed him for three years because it was felt he was Championship standard and would still have a role to play. That may not be the case anymore.
I don't disagree at all. He was our weakest link in the latter stages of the season (when he got a game) and gave the ball away far too cheaply. He doesn't belong in a team that tries to play tappy tappy football - certainly not at Premier League level.
'It would have to take a very, very, very good offer for me to leave Portsmouth. That is how much I enjoy being here.'
So Appy, we have 12 players including a goalie, and we will pay your wages on time, what d' ya say?
I'm your man.
Being apparently that bothered about what a stranger says on Internet forums, especially when you, Matthew Le God, are not even abusive, makes Hypochondriac seem like a very peculiar person.
Quote from his bolg:
"If there's anyone reading this blog who's hurt themselves or gotten sick, and you're worried and depressed and can't think of what to do… we may not be able to meet in person, but I hope we can overcome this together."
What a metroman :-) Like it!
I also thought Carrol put in a good shift, and his headed goal against Sweden was out of this world. I was also surprised that Carrol came on for Welbeck - Rooney, the utter ***t, did nothing all game.
