If a CL team comes in for him and the money is right for all parties then surely we'd let him go. Ability to get a replacement in is the most likely reason we'd not sanction a move, I reckon.

Jeez, we won all but one of our pre-season friendlies, some against decent sides and yet some people still think we're doomed from the off. Watford drew against Woking, Lorient and lost against QPR ffs.

I do wonder if we'll really be spending much this close season. I don't really mind all the TV money being poured into new contracts for the major players and infrastructure, but it'd still be nice to have one marquee signing.

A top manager is full of confidence. I seriously doubt anyone in that position thinks they can't keep progressing the club. They're all full of themselves and for good reason. It's a highly specialised profession.

God forbid you feel positive about our best ever finish or anything. We played amazingly well this year, which made up for a poor/average first half of the season. We won far more times than I thought we would, Spurs/Liverpool/City were all games that I'd expect us to lose, but the team really deserved those wins. Like last season, the mid-season dip has cost us.. but I think I'd rather have the ups and downs and ups instead of an average meh through the season like Stoke/WBA etc

He was awful yesterday. As you say, repeatedly tried silly flicks when they were not needed (would gain nothing more than a simple pass would) and gave away possession when it was needed most.

I'd not be unhappy to see a change if we don't win the next two. It's only going to get harder from here on in and there needs to be a reaction to this run from everyone, including the manager. His comments regarding the academy players annoyed me, because I think they were ill advised and likely to cause damage to the club's reputation. You can afford to say that when your players are setting the world alight, but when you've lost God knows how many in the last couple of months, you can't.
