Is that the same Fuller who is doing well in the Prem now?

Alan Biley.

what happens if Pinacle/MLT retain Wotte as manager

Are you saying you wouldn't? -
I wouldn't be surprised if there is some truth in this. I'm sure it won't be long before we all realise that Pinnacle don't have anything like the amount of cash that some on here are hoping for. I also think there is a very strong likelyhood that they didn't pay anywhere near £500k for exclusivity. Let's just hope that they can cobble enough money to take control of the club so at least we have a team to support next year even if they do have to flog Lalanna, Schnierderlen, McG and Surman.

Please.

Wouldn't surprise me at all if the Pinnacle deal did collapse. There is something about it that doesn't really feel right to me! Maybe it's the fact that if history has taught us anything it is to be very wary of people hoping to gain control of SFC who feel it necessary to post messages on internet fans message boards......

Do you ever feel you might be a manic depresive? I feel for your kids. If they come home as pleased as punch after getting 98% in a school exam no doubt you would go into pains of anguish about the lost 2% and how the poor child will be destined to spend their adult lives living in a cardboard box in a bus station..... I think you should try and smile a bit more Mr 'Glass One Tenth Empty'.

If we ever get back to the Prem? Doubt there will be a tour. We will be playing non-league teams away and any CCC/Prem teams we play will be at SMS.
-
That's actually quite a good question, which players with Saints connections have got to lift the Prem League trophy. I can think of Shearer, Flowers, Kenna and Bridge. Any more?

There was a great thing on tv earlier in the week Tim! It was a good old ‘Let’s All Laugh at the Yanks” Programme, you would have loved it! It was about the hundreds of Yank teenagers that were so fat they needed gastric bands fitted or had to have 90% of their stomachs removed. One particularly poignant moment was when one post-surgery Behemoth was eating her liquidised vegetable lunch and talking about her support group. Her Support Group were sat around her as she ate, gorging themselves on KFC Buckets. God Bless America!!!!

I've just heard that a group of Monkeys from Ape World in Dorset are currently contacting a lawyer with the intention of suing JVD for slander for likening them to an American. Apparently they are contesting that they understand irony, have decent dress sense, do not massacre their own with guns and that 80% of the monkey population is not morbidly obese. I reckon they have a good case.......

Firstly anyone who thinks the new owner is going to throw stacks of cash at the club is clearly deluded. The club, as it always has been, will have to be a self-funding entity to survive. The 'hundreds of millions' of pound statement from Pinacle is clearly PR and I'm this figure has no doubt been arrived at by some exageration of what assets the person holds. This does not meant they will be bankrolling us. If the new owners can clear the debts then that's fine with me, I don't care if they provide 1p of investment. If we need to sell before we buy this Summer then so be it. With the crowds we can generate we can still be one of the big boys at this level even if the new owner is expecting the club to totally support itself. So I would imagine that Fry has asked Pinnancle if it is ok to sell McG and Surman and Pinnacle have said yes, provided we get this amount for them. Let's face it McG has played his last game for us. He wants out and wants to move back to the midlands to be near his family. As for Surman, he is far too good for L1 so is going to go. I also expect Schnierderlein and Lallanna to be sold as well this Summer.

Indeed! There's nothing worse than people who come on here just to be negative, don't you think Alps!
-
Surely there won't be any tour? As a lower league club I would think that we will be playing almost all of our pre-season games at home against any Prem and CCC teams that haven't already booked all their games by the time we get our act sorted. We might play some away pre-season games but these would be against non-league teams. Playing mostly home pre-season games will also help raise a few quid.

There's only one rule they should go for. Never, under any circumstances, base any decision about the club on what the consensus of fan's opinion thinks they should do. Especially don't listen to a single 'Anyone but' campaign as they are the main reason we are where are are today. 'Anyone But Hoddle' got us Sturrock (and then Wiggley and Saggy) = Relegation 'Anyone But Lowe' got us Wilde which led to the drunken Scot being given £8m to pi ss up against the wall which led to Administration.
-
How on earth do you know that?! All we do know is there is a person or persons who, after much to-ing and fro-ing have finally managed to cobble together the 500k needed to go into exclusivity with the administrators. It's amazing, many fans who were totally duped by Wilde are now more than happy to accept the hundreds of millions speil contained in the very Wilde-esque letter from Pinnacle. You really shouldn't be surprised when Surman, Schniederlein, Lalanna, McG and Dyer are all flogged in the window.
-
I still think some fans are getting mighty ahead of themselves. If the new owners can clear the debt and start again from ground zero then they deserve hearty congratulations from us but I think it's highly unlikey they will be throwing big money at the club. The fact that Fry said a few weeks back that Pinnacle 'failed to meet' the conditions laid down my him could have only meant that they failed to find the 500k at that time to go into exclusivity. I would imagine they have been furtively working in the background to come up with the cash to fund the deal and I would assume much of this is coming in the form of short term loans that will have to quickly be re-paid when they take control of the club. I fully expect us still to sell Lalanna, McG, Surman, Dyer and Schnierlein during the window.

But we are SFC, are we allowed to have something good happen to us?
-
Does anyone have pics of Chortles Chorley's daughter? I miss his posts on here. They always started by saying he saw a poster's mum down the town, then put the SFC world to rights. When anyone questioned him he would lose his rag, imply violence and then give out his mobile number. If anyone posted a serious question he would cunningly dodge it by saying he had to take his girl friend to the hairdressers. This forum is a duller place without him.....
-
Are we even going to be able to have a pre-season? All league clubs will have finalised their pre-season plans when/if our problems get resolved! Maybe we can play some Sunday league teams?
-
Where are all those fans who said what was the point of giving Dyer a new contract when we were just going to ship him out on loan? It looks very likely that the money from his transfer my be the reason we actually have a club to support next season.
-
He's about twenty years too old for their target market.....
-
I'd rather have piles than Sturrock......

If we had had Carlisle's elbows we might still be in the CCC.... One of Gormless George's best drink induced howlers, a year after working out we desperately needed a good CB (and so going out and wasting 750k on a bloke from Portugal who called himself Pele but had the physical presence of an OAP) he went out and spent a cool £1m on Wayne Thomas from Burnley who said thank you very much and picked up Carlisle for a couple of hundred grand. Hmmm, I wonder who got the best of that deal?
