  1. 45 is young!?
  2. Lets not.
  3. never realised before that he was bi....
  4. If a DoF can work at all it can't be with a former manager in that role as they always end up meddling too much and, in many cases, take over as manager themselves. KK was DoF to Micky Adams at Fulham but ended up taking over the managers job himself.
  5. To be honest, if you are saying that Administrators should always do the best for the creditors and in our case that would have meant selling to the Keith Harris lot as they were offering more then I am very happy that Begbies did such a poor job. I am far happier with the club in the hands of Liebherr than some 'Worldwide Consortium' who could have anyone in its midst and had the legendary figure of Gordon Watson as its 'football face'......
  6. I really don't know what the obsession is with the past. Crouch was part of the decline that saw us end up where we are now so I wouldn't want him within a million miles of the boardroom. If he did pay the 500k exclusivity money that enabled the wages to be paid then fair play to him and tbh maybe ML should be looking to refund him this money now that he owns the club. However he shouldn't be given a place on the board. we've been there and it didn't work out. Crouch's role in the new set up should just be one of a fan and, if he fancies it, him and LM getting a box from which to watch the games.
  7. I only hope he don't get the situation where we don't start the season well, go behind in a home game and then some of our more vocal and fickle fans starting hurling all sorts of abuse at Wotte while Markus looks on from the director's box. Not the sort of impression of our club that we want to give him and could have him questioning what he was bought.
  8. When will we know for sure that we will 'only' be starting on -10? I know the idea that we might be docked more was Lie-man bulls hit by it would be good if the FL could confirm. -10 means playoffs are possible -25 means relegation is likely....
  9. Great. Barrow Boy Fry is trying to get the Swiss gazumped by Harris (and god only know who is part of his consortium....) I'm sure a multi-millionaire like Liebierr won't take too kindly to being dicked around by the likes of Fry. Can't Fry see that the Swiss bid is the best one for the club and city as a whole. (and yes, I know all Begbies are interested in is money....)
  10. The info posted on this forum was more accurate than the Mail. Fry worked at Barclays Reading office and not Canary Wharf.
  11. Interestingly both The Farmer and Michael Wilde are both currently on-line and viewing this thread! Hello boys!!
  12. Well the blame for that lies clearly on the plate of Mr Wilde. It his his s hit or bust tactic that spent every penny of the overdraft at the start of the play-off season.
  13. Isn't it a doozy! According to who-is search Pinnacle's web site was registered by a certain Spencer Farmer Esq!! It's interesting that on one of the web site's few pages there is a pic of that cheeky Leprechaun Fry complete with email address and mobile number. I wonder if anyone has taken the time to call him to express their feelings about the sterling work he has done (and according to some reports is continuing to do) for the club?
  14. Interesting to see from the Members List that Spencer (The) Farmer was browsing the forum a mere 15 mins ago. No sign of him posting his final thoughts on the Pinnacle shambles tho.... Looks like his 'greatest' contribution to the club will remain the setting up of the Forever Saints message board along with Tristan-Stanley-Mole with the sole objective of abusing Keith Legg.... I really do hope for all our sakes that the weeks that Pinnacle p issed away hasn't resulted in the death of the club.
  15. Is there anyone who posts on this forum who would think that if they were in Austria they would drop Alps a PM and meet up for a beer as it would be a nice way to spend an evening with a fellow Saints fan? Nah, thought not!
  16. If Fry was planning to liqudate the club on Fri he would hardly bother giving Wotte a new contract would he. We would be looking to get rid of an many staff as possible asap. I don't see how anyone could think this news is anything other than a positive indication that the club will be in existance come the start of the season.
  17. As bullshi ting Walter Mitty's go I preferred Jackso to Lie-nam as at least he didn't support Liverpool......
  18. Seems like Pinnacle is combining some of the worst facets of our previous chairmen. The abusive phone calls of Rupert Lowe and the message board fan pandering bullshi t of Mikey Wilde.
  19. Oh Lie-nam does some charity gold work does he Tris? He's kept that quiet.....
  20. Pinnacle consists of an Irish chancer who's preferred method of working is to smarm away to the fans on a web message board and a money man who is a bloke in his 30s who still lives with his Mum and works at an estate agents. I would hope the Swiss couldn't be worse than this.....
  21. In that case can you let me know who Tony Fialka banks with? If they are willing to loan £12m to a bloke who doesn't even have his own place then I better get open an account quick. Or maybe his Dad has raised his pocket money?
  22. LOL. I would imagine then that you really do believe a footballer is 'over the moon' when the score a goal. Anyone with half a brain cell could see GM was taking the pi ss (which is obv why Tony Lying took it seriously.....)
  23. LOL. I think you have that the wrong way around. The fact that the club and many of its fans seemed to have learnt nothing from whole Chancer Wilde 'error' and are more than happy to be led down the garden path and bent over by the next fantasist to show an interest in the club speaks volumes. Pinnacle need to feck off now and leave us with some small hope that the Swiss can do the deal or if not, god help us, the Jackson consortium. Hell, if we are to be taken over by a loony fantasist with a Walter Mitty complex then I would prefer it is Jackson as at least he is our Walter Mitty Fantasist and not some Spurs supporting spiv.
  24. I cannot believe that that Feckless Oirish Bogtrotter Tony Lying and his dimwitted side-kick 'Mummy's Boy' Tony Fialka have the temerity to still post on here. I love that some on here called his posts 'bullish' - that was close but missing a couple of letters.... This past month could well be the most important of the clubs near 125 year existance and what they have done is tantamount to two people pretending to be doctors while 'looking after' a seriously ill patient. It made me sick to my stomach to watch the interview on Sky Sports News last night and in answer the the question about staff not being paid the Jewish Boy Wonder paused, gave a little bulls hit chuckle and responded "it's a funny one about the wages". Yes, Tony, isn't is just, a number of hard working loyal staff finding out they cannot pay the mortgage next month, something that you obviously have no concept of still living with Mumsie well into your thirties... The one thing that was shouting at me from the tv screen was what we have here is a 5th rate (very) poor man's Simon Jordan wannabee.... I am certain that Lying and Mummy's Boy didn't pay a penny towards the exclusivity fee and that it was made up of the Dyer cash, money from Crouch and maybe, as some on here have stated, money from MLT. Roping a Saints legend into this farce only goes to make things even worse. I haven't had a lot of time for Crouch in the past but he has proved his mettle by doing the one thing that the other so called rich Saints fans have singularly failed to do, put his hand in his pocket and pull out some cash. IMHO, the likes of Salz and Davies are also cupable in this whole mess as they have more than enough money to do something about the situation but, while claiming to be Saints fan, are happy to stay on the sidelines and watch the club die.
