Long can have a role to play, we looked much better when he was on the field yesterday. As for Austin; he is what he is; reads the game well and you have to look at his goal scoring record - like Ings though you cannot really plan for him to play regularly. Realistically we should be in the market for one striker.

I don't think that it is corruption Turkish, I think it is an inbuilt subconscious fear of scrutiny by big clubs. If Ralph questions a decision the it is a lost in the text but if Klopp implies poor officialdom then it can be headline news. Nothing supports the hypothesis more than Gabbiadini's goal in the cup final.

Matt - I had the same. I have been parking there for many years and for the Palace game I got a ticket. I was going to contest mine because it was dark and there was no signage. In fairness I have always thought it was odd that we could park there with no repercussions. Now they have made it a non parking zone that will put pressure on parkling. Where do people think we should park now?

Yours is the voice I here outside of the forum. It is not just tedious reading people slagging off our players on here it is embarrassing. I just hope the players don't read some of the comments on here, it can hardly foster affection for our club. Mid-table for me please and a good cup run, blending youth with experience and the occasional glamorous foreign signing to generate a bit of excitement. I salute your post.

When he is fit he can eek out goals from nowhere. It is using him so that he has the best chance of staying fit that is the challenge.
