Henman won loads of matches like the one last night. Murray was the higher ranked player, on home turf, and struggled through in 5 sets. That's pretty much the Henman script. Oh, and Henman and Rusedki both reached number 4 in the world. Don't get me wrong, it was a good match yesterday, but Murray was expected to win, and very nearly lost. That's nothing to get too excited about.

How so? Assuming the money doesn't disappear into a black hole, you're just getting a club with a million quid less debt?
-
It's a fair comment. If these players were intent on leaving (can't really blame them), it's better PR for them to leave before you take over, rather than it happening afterwards.

What if you're parked up in a lay-by on a quiet country road at night?

How was the concert?

That website looks dodgy, but it is a real story: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/wales/south_east/8123749.stm

The way is clear already. Pinnacle aren't in an exclusivity period, there's nothing stopping someone else from bidding.

Should have used Dulux. Those paint pod things are supposed to be good, get it done in no time. -

Wages weren't paid on time last month either, and nothing came of that.

It was discussed lots a few weeks ago. You're on here 24 hours a day, you must have read the threads.

I've been missing your PM's.

I think we're past the stage of firesales to be honest. Player sales take time, other clubs know that they could hold out for a couple of days and get the players for free. If SFC can't pay wages, they are insolvent, and the club will be liquidated. From what I've heard, SFC can't operate in administration.
-
Why are people so keen for them to walk away? If they walk, SFC folds. We may not like the amount of time it's taking, but we have nothing to gain from them walking.
-
You stuck in a time warp? They reached agreement yesterday and called off the split.

It's funny, because I watched some of the USA v Brazil match a few days ago, and the Yanks looked absolutely awful. Like they'd never played before.

If MLT wasn't linked to Pinnacle what would you think now?
Scummer replied to modern matron's topic in The Saints
Surely the flaw is that MLT has been asked to be chairman........ -
Yeah it's in London? http://www.oldherefordiansclub.co.uk/Old_Herefordians_in_london.asp?ItemID=278&rcid=211&pcid=210&cid=211

It's on BBC sport website breaking news.

If they pull out today, we'd likely fold tomorrow. Wages are due and there would be no-one to pay them. They aren't in an exclusivity period any more, there's nothing to stop someone else making an offer. Surely if others are keen, they'd be slamming money on the table as quickly as their hands could move? Lastly, as others have said, if Pinnacle have got cold feet they'd have pulled out by now. They wouldn't be racking up more bills going backwards and forwards with the FL.

Tony Lynam stated it live on Radio Solent yesterday morning. It was more than £500k as they had to also provide funding for the Ajax pre season game. -

Yeah, it was more than that. -
Southend games normally get moved when West Ham are at home, but there's no Premiership that weekend. It's not even due to the England game, as they are away on the Saturday in Croatia.

Is she not even playing at Wimbledon?

ESPN have got all the games Setanta had (Prem games). They'll need to start a new channel to show them on. You'll probably have to pay extra, although I guess Virgin could have a similar deal to the one they did for Setanta.
