Well that's definitely true, as those T shirts were sold in the club shop ie after Wilde was already in place. They were nothing to do with the fans, they were official club merchandise. As for the larger point, I don't think the fans had that much influence. I guess the discontent led a couple of people to realise that Lowe could be removed, but at the end of the day it wasn't the fans who bought the shares and voted at the AGM. Well, a few did, but you get my point surely.

Going to London in a few weeks to see the Killers, and as it's my birthday a couple of days beforehand was thinking about going somewhere a bit 'posh' for lunch. Washington is good if you like museums, and of course lots of military stuff around there which you might be interested in. Boston is a really nice city as well. Another option would be hop over to Canada and go to Toronto, which I loved. It's near Niagara Falls as well which is a must-see.

Lots of the big operators, Virgin etc do split centre holidays. Were you thinking of somewhere else in that corner of America, like Boston, Washington, possibly Chicago, or further afield?

Could be that we are just holding out for higher offers than have currently been made. We are in a weak bargaining position, other clubs know this and are probably offering silly little offers for our players. We may find ourselves forced to accept these offers on the last day of the window.

How about: Wilde and Lowe turned down Crouch's plan, but Jan got to hear about it. Realising he didn't have the support of the major shareholder, and bearing in mind the aggro at the last match, JP realises his days are numbered and jumps ship. Lowe decides, as ever, that he knows best and so decides to continue the Dutch experiment by promoting Wotte.

It works in most European countries though, and at far bigger clubs than Saints. I guess it's easier if it's always been that way though.
