Was wondering how that was different from the red card Sanchez got for Colombia against Japan in their group stage game. I know theyve changed the rulings but that was practically a goal itself!! Handball/Last ditch slide tacklee- both were done intentionally at the end of the day.

Yeah- no boufal or carrillo. However Clasie is included!
-
So does this mean you’ll bet positively on Saints or you hedging a load of ‘insurance bets’ as you say.

Get in there!! Getting optimistic as the days go by! Already wondering how we will line up next season.

I agree with this. I do not think we will beat Colombia. The reason we did so well in those first two games, apart from playing absolutely trash sides, was that our players didn’t have much expectation. Now by losing this game tonight, 95% of our fans expect us to get to those semifinals- and with such added expectations come tremendous pressure. We will bottle it and there’ll be a mutiny. I think most of us could have taken a gracious defeat to Brazil. Anyhow, come on England! No pressure

Very glad with this signing- if he has half the impact of his nearly similar namesake ‘Mohamed’ Salah who also had a spell at Basel- well we’d all be over the moon! I like these types of signings- we should always try to buy successful players in their respective leagues over a reserve striker of a big team. Give me that striker who knows where the back of the net is and has stats like 50 goals in 60 games even in a weaker league over something like Carrillo

would be a fair amount! i've actually known him for 3/4 years now because he has been one of the fastest players in the game on FIFA!

okay so we failed with Maddison. let's move on. hope he flops for LCFC of course even if he is English

I don’t mean to brag but I did say this

Well their capital city is always asked to be spelt in the Word Cup

Love it Easy way for Glasgow to bash Reed further too

Apparently Terry was on £60k a week this year

That league kind of exists already now though Whoever finishes 7th is that champion of the minileague that basically exists now. At end of the day the top 6 are bringing in the revenue for everyone else- then in turn the revenue in general means that as fans we see higher quality players which is bridging that competitive gap very marginally.

Just making a prediction. I reckon Heisenburg truly is Ekon. Ekon never seems to reply to Heisenburg’s posts because it would be simply like replying to himself. I also think there is a Chinese forum poster in the offing- probably at a stage right now where his fake facebook and twitter is being made before he creates his account. *conspiracy over*

this fake ekon bloke is playing a blinder.
-
I dunno- why don’t you open them accounts up then you seem good at itt

I reckon Mexico has some potential this year. With world cups and stuff however team chemistry for me is more important than the individual players- ie. the whole is better than the sum of its parts. Hence why I think Spain will be there abouts again- best defence in tournament for me.

Poch season easily. And for those saying it was because he also used academy players- well with or without academy players- id take 56 points in a season even with foreign imports. That points total might even get us European football. That season we literally went toe to toe with everyone- only game i can remember being outplayed was Man City away and Liverpool home- otherwise we were great. Also a season like that then other big clubs want our players again

puel was not sacked for 8th place. it was the inability to prove he could turn it around and not scoring at home in our last 6/7 games or whatever it was took its toll. if i remember correctly, i think we only managed around 22 points in our last 21 games or i remember seeing a stat like that. that's relegation form. although 2017-18 proved that we were in a relegation battle so maybe puel isn't to blame and our squad was just whack anyway- but that's a completely different discussion anyway! good call to get hughes in- confident we won't get relegated with him, but not expecting a comfortable top 10 either. if he can offer solid cup runs i'll be more than happy.
-
add Luke Shaw who won a Europa League Medal in 2016-17.
-
i don't understand why the f*ck you would buy a football club if that is the case. a million better ways to make profit.
-
And before Hughes- nor have any of the previous 4.

I thought Ekon was the bloke from Maidstone?

A part of me just can’t help but feel that Bertrand’s mistake in the Everton away game cost him his spot partially. If I can remember correctly, Southgate was at that game and he can’t have been too impressed! Yes I am aware Southgate will surely not he so short sighted but Bertrand has been woeful in comparison to last 3 years- should have got in ahead of Rose at least however.
