    Hughes OUT

would our prima donnas listen to him though?
  3. but why is that? does he force the players overtime in training? because if i remember correctly Poch did double sessions when he was with us and I assume that he might still do at Spurs. or is it that the players think he is tactically a joke? in terms of being straight forward and saying it how it is, I quite enjoy Hughes interviews if I am honest- but it just seems like he doesn't apply what he says or rectify the issues that are clearly obvious.
  4. https://www.saintsweb.co.uk/showthread.php?60379-Manchester-City-away-build-up/page2#.W-AdTJP7TIU not gloating or anything- but post number 80! I predicted 6-1 to City!!! Now if only I placed money like Heisenburg eh...
  5. Not sure if i remember correctly, but didnt hughes stoke team lose 7-2 last season at city? So will predict 6-1 City. But our goal will come to make it 2-1, and then as we push for an equaliser, theyll score a counter attack, before scoring 3 more goals at the end of the game
  6. Osvaldo to sort out our goalscoring woes. Taider to add some flair to our midfield Cuco Martina for his long shots Guly for some much needed team spirit.
  7. misplaced arrogance. oh the blackbox and the southampton way and our recruitment etc etc etc when reed used to do stupid snippets- became so far up our ar*ses when in reality our transfer success from 2014 and 2015 were one-offs over something we would ever do regularly. we need a change at top of hierarchy- les reed and ralph need to go before any further damage is done- the rot started with them and is continuing with them.
  8. it'll be 3-0 city, they wont even have to break a sweat for it either.
  9. tadic would have squared it to Austin today in the early chance we have. then long does what long best. honestly all these draws are feeling like defeats. we cannot win.
  10. streams anyonee?
  11. i did an economic paper on this recently. the reason that there is no cause for concern from the regulators i.e. the PL is simply that attendances remain at near on full capacity and revenues continue to increase- if anyone has read Rottenberg's paper in 1956 who argued that sports teams need to be equal in ability to generate revenue- it doesn't apply in the case of the PL... most commentators argue that the PL is still attractive because whilst the top 6 is usually pencilled in, within the top 6 they seem to change positions regularly... and then the same occurs for the rest of the 14- it is almost like a league within a league- and these itself are unpredictable which generates interest. i could go far deeper with this topic but yeah otherwise that is a simple way of putting it
  12. any idea for replacement? surely we could end up with another Pellegrino? do you have faith in Reed and Wilson to hire a 'decent replacement'? that's without mentioning that we have no idea about the cost and impact of terminating Hughes' contract.
  13. back in 2012-13, if i remember correctly we beat them 2-0 with lallana scoring which kick started our season. need one of those. come on saints, 2-0- Lemina and Ings to get them would be sweet.
  14. ‘Little old’ will probably rile em up
  15. @Glasgow/Heisenburg place big money on Wenger to Saints to ignite the bookies interest and get the odds to drop (oh and then do your thing and cash out eh )
  16. offer the man £6m-£7.5m a year- PL Status is worth far more than that anyway
  17. I actually agree with this- usually we are better away- so I’ll say 1-1, but we will dominate first 65 mins
  18. 3-0....
  19. yep. same reason we persisted with Forster, put Redmond up top initially to get his market value increased if he scored and now currently doing with Hoedt. we live on hope that things will turn out good (to sell),but no longer plans (@Ralph- where are the pledges at ).
  20. i'd say we are as good as gone- there would be no fight.
  21. ever since Virgin media began sponsoring us (or the away fans)
  22. they have a stable team with the same faces consistently playing for the past 3 seasons with a couple of good additions that help them. on the other hand, we have sold our talent, chopped through managers, and most importantly, we don't even know our best team and nor does our manager.
  23. Gonna predict a 1-1 for this weirdly enough
  24. Just drafted Hazard into my fantasy prem, so no doubt it will go wrong for me. You’re welcome Vestergaard and co, Hazard will now be cursed by me. Just stop Giroud now I suppose! The *****er always scores against us
  25. We were all right that Carrillo would be sh*t
