Well we do have Mike Bassett in charge But where is our version of Wacko...
-
we lose and fulham get to 8 pts a loss to wolves/leicester to see hughes gone= **** but possibly understandable loss to fulham tomorrow? unforgivable... draw is hardly acceptable either tbh
-
basically happened with Pellegrino too :/
-
Didn’t we have a David Villa link as well?
-
Or maybe we think we are such a big club we can unsettle these people the same way the big clubs use the media to unsettle ours e.g. VVD, Lovren etc etc
-
I was literally just about to say!!! Ruined the ashes for me in parts!
-
Has anyone in the PL ever sold a whole spine in one window though? Shaw, Lallana, Lovren and Lambert? Or even Mane, Wanyama and Pelle in one window in 2016? Only club I can think of doing something like that is Monaco and Dortmund (but both outside the PL)
-
yes our squad is crap. but honestly compare it to that of Palace or Cardiff... even Burnley... (exclude the fact Palace have Zaha too) ) should some of the players in that team be on the same points or less as any of those? that is really where a lot of our frustrations are borne from tbh- I do feel we have a decent spine in McCarthy, Bertrand, Lemina, PEH, Romeu, Gabbiadini, Elyounoussi and Ings. The rest however I really do not rate tbf- Austin's one good season won't happen again, Redmond I have always maintained will never have a PL brain, none of our CBs are top 10 material, Cedric is too hit and miss too unfortunately.
-
aren't Brazilian players really hard for us (or any PL club) to get cos of work permits or something? would love to know but the bulk of South American stars tend to go Portugal, Spain or Italy etc before coming here... only one i can think of in recent years is Richarlison and Jesus for City. or we can blame Brexit

what you on about, members of this and countless other forums are all experts

wow completely forgot about Jan, he was a good bloke. him and Erwin left with their heads held high
-
yes- did not beat a single one of them last season, and we lost to Wolves earlier this season. Yet to play Cardiff and Fulham are next of course.
-
agreed, though not sure how fair it'll be for anyone when their opening 2 games would be United at home and Spurs away if Hughes was to go. something has to give though, it is a must win for both sides. the team I would play personally: McCarthy Cedric Yoshida Hoedt Targett PEH Lemina Redmond Armstrong Gabbiadini Ings Obafemi and Elyounoussi to be our subs at some point too. we generally do well at Craven Cottage, and it is always a really really good away day, but the way we are playing and the general momentum means I'm going to predict a feisty 2-2 affair. Schurrle opens the scoring for them, we reply back with Armstrong and Gabbiadini and take the lead, before Mitrovic towers over Cedric at the far post late in the game to grab an equaliser.

chaos theory

with Forster in goal did we not have this record of not conceding like in 7 games? think we lost it when Fabregas scored for Chelsea with that cross-turned-goal... but you were correct, we really did take it to face when we conceded, now when we concede heads drop and all momentum is lost.

yeah probably, why I give him a free pass but at 24 years old not sure how much time I can give him- he is a squad player at best, and will be for the foreseeable future if I am honest.
-
I could, but is it worth the £50+ that I would have to fork out is another question...
-
yep, really easy, although some away games are hard to get tickets for- Fulham went incredibly quick. just look at the tickets we sold for the FA Cup Semifinal though, proof that we are finding it harder to shift tickets these days.
-
his two own goals this season have been laughable.
-
i'd say that this is the intention of any PL club, except the big 6, Everton, Leicester and West Ham (and possibly Wolves have greater expectations)
-
why are ralphs interviews always so confusing and basically, a load of waffle?
-
^or, Hoedt is younger, has more potential, and ideally what we want by continually playing him is for him to become the new VVD, whereby we can sell and make profits! That is my personal belief why we continuously play Hoedt... he is far likelier to generate profits than Maya is.
-
not United surely?
-
perfect time to get Mike Bassett in! he'd be good for us.

second best piece of news all year, after us beating Swansea anyway. thanks for the ride Les, but unfortunately last 2 years have ruined the previous 6 successful ones we did have.
