Initially I felt a little dubious over this, but having watched his interview on the OS, I have changed my mind. We are aware of his ability, he is highly intelligent and clearly loves the club. I remember he always made a point of acknowledging the fans when he played at SMS. He did not leave us with any animosity and given the circumstances now, it is a no brainer imho.

I wonder if his father has put his old Saints shirt back on.

Perhaps all this will cause the Premier League to wake up and not pay these stupid wages to over rated players. If they all took a 50% pay cut the smaller clubs would be saved and still the P/L players would earn more than most of us would ever dream of. Ralph said prior to the CP game he was the No.1 . I cannot see him being dropped simply because of the first goal scored by Spurs. I recall many times Forster was terrible against long shots from outside the penalty area and wold never come out for a cross despite his height. McCarthy is the best we have at the moment.
